For the development of a meaningful character relationship.

The friendship may be either with an NPC of the player's own design or with another player character or another Player's NPC. The friendship should be an unfolding story over the course of multiple posts and impact the character(s) lives significantly. (*romantic relationships not included- please refer to the Rose Award in those instances)

Lieutenant Amaranai Franklin 08 Oct 2018 @ 11:37pm	The future and current friendship between this character and LtCmdr Luke Wyatt is one that I am particularly looking forward to seeing develop in the future. With previous history, I no doubt believe that the security department is in good hands with Both this character and LtCmdr Luke Wyatt at the Helm.

Corporal Abbey St James 19 Feb 2016 @ 10:02am	Though they really only just met, the dynamic between Cadet Paragon and Corporal Wyatt is the basis of what is likely to grow into a sound friendship. Especially after she killed one of her own (TE soldier) to save his life and he took responsibility of her during the battle for the Galileo.
Lieutenant JG Drusilla McCarthy 05 Sep 2015 @ 6:59pm	The IC development and relationship between Quinn and McCarthy is definitely one that sneaks under most people's radar, but it's fun to read snippets of it whenever it's mentioned. It's also great to see that Dru now has not only a partner in bed, but a friend for life.

Petty Officer 1st Class Pieter Van Zyl Ph.D. 14 Dec 2014 @ 5:34pm	Over the course of several posts, starting with being stuck together as roommates, my NPC Tyrion has started to develop a somewhat uncertain and awkward friendship with his roommate Pieter van Zyl. It is evident that the two care about eachother as friends (and nothing more) and will go a fair way to see to it that the other is comfortable in time of need (such as the filters for Pieter during the tribble manifestation, and the cupcake in the brig for Tyrion) Aside from his unfortunately lover Tyrek, Pieter is actually the first real friend Tyrion ever had.

Commander Scarlet Blake 10 Sep 2014 @ 1:31pm	Though this award may come as a bit of a shock from me playing Luke however I find that Scarlet's and Lukes relationship will and already has taken an all new meaningful path (of a non-romantic nature) to which end is why I have nominated her for this award for both In character and out of character their story has unfolded and re-folded several times and even though Luke has often put himself to see her more than a friend it's just that they are both not meant to be. However this is not the end of the two's relationship and I am looking forward to seeing their friendship grow.

17 May 2014 @ 2:28pm	Abbey has become very close to Jacob, not only as a room mate but also as a person of deepening interest in his life. Whether the friendship becomes more than that is irrelevant, it is obvious the two enjoy each other's company and have become fast friends.

Lieutenant JG Kestra Orexil 07 Jun 2013 @ 6:49pm	I have really enjoyed the unique way that a friendship has developed between Kestra and Liyar. What makes it unique is the way that it has been through Kestra's recovery and telepathic bonds. The way it has been written shows just how much it means to Kestra, and how precious the things are that Liyar has done for her. Kestra's narrative and thoughts are always descriptive and you always know exactly what she's thinking and feeling, which has shown us this delicate friendship being built block by block.

07 Jan 2013 @ 4:46pm	I see this award as much a player award as it is for characters. Phoebe is always engaging and up for JPs with anybody, helps to mediate between players and is just a general overzealous lab puppy that seems to love having interactions with everyone.

Lieutenant Kiri Cho 03 Sep 2012 @ 11:00am	The characters of Theron Rhodes and Kiri Cho have been developing a friendship. They both seem to struggle with this concept. Ens. Cho had done a great job in describing her feelings of the dilemma. Her character has developed and has allowed for those friendships to slowly take root.

Command Master Chief Markum Quinn 05 Jul 2012 @ 11:46am	For the budding friendship between the department heads in Engineering. Same nomination goes to Lilou Peers, of course. It started with Quinn showing faith in Peers when they met in "Reporting In", continued with them saving the ship together and Peers getting to prove herself in "Extra Pieces Left", and then it really started to shine with Quinn's completely unconditional support of Peers shown in "Something Clever" and "Engineers Delight".
