Ezra calmly nodded and moved into position beside Saalm. His cavalier attitude was punctuated by the tiny smirk on his face as he said to Taliesin, "I chose a bad day to skip my mid-day nap."

K'os watched as the security officers moved into position, his hands shook as the emotions in his mind erupted around inside his skull. He wasn't sure how much longer he could control himself. He was doing well enough at the moment, but how he would react once the aggressors began rounding them, was anyone's guess.

And Now, the Continuation...

Deck 3 - Sickbay

Inside sickbay, Tuula made whatever last preparations she could for the arrival of the boarding parties. Sealing medical files, taking care of patients, and freeing Gilbert, her pet tribble, into the Jeffries tubes in order to give him a fighting chance of remaining undetected.

The plan was to comply with the terms of surrender, offer no resistance at all, and hope that the Terrans spare them from too much additional cruelty. Beyond that, they were powerless to do anything. "Allyndra," Tuula asked in a soft voice, the reality of being taken prisoner by the Terran Empire and in all likelihood dying in this universe and never seeing home again setting in, "what's going to happen to us?"

"I do not know exactly," Allyndra replied. "One must presume the factions are still mostly the Empire against most of the alien races with the exception of a few conquered races. The fact that your human might have an advantage here." She shrugged. "From what little data there ever has been that has come back, there has been no mention of Akkadians. I am not sure they exist here so I maybe something of an unknown. That may or may not play out well. Secondly though we are doctors and not tactical or technical people for weapons or weapons research. We are probably very low on the list of interest or priority."

"That's good to know," replied Tuula. "I just hope they have whatever equivalent of the Seldonis IV convention in this universe..."

Bursting through the door of sickbay with his arms locked under Keval's shoulder's supporting the Andorian Luke took sharp breaths as the punch from the Terran Empire soldier started to take its effect "Stab wound below his waist" Luke offered rushing to place the Andorian onto the bed "Abbey and Daniels are right behind us when they come through I suggest closing the doors they will likely come this way. Luke's clothes were already scorched and ripped in some places from the flurry of exchanging phaser weapons and melee combat.

Allyndra was not real surprised that the Empire had been very slip shod in its boarding. She knew the impulse of the crew would be to resist and it was obvious that there was going to be casualties.

"Tuula Mott! Get started on the knife wound. I will take a look at Abby." Allyndra began to move quickly to the door of sickbay. "I understand sir about securing, but these may not be the only casualties. Besides, securing the door may just indicate that there is something being hidden here and they are most likely to phaser the door down." She looked to her crew, "everyone we have incoming, you know what to do!"

"I will take care of Lieutenant Wyatt," Naois said, grabbing a tricorder while approaching Wyatt. "With me sir, and we will have you patched up for another round of resistance shortly."

Luke allowed the doctor to approach with the intention to help him, the Terran Empire soldier had gotten a good few blows before they could make their escape. Looking and eyeing the security guards he had stationed in the sickbay he gave them a set of silent instruction's. They all made for the door and took up position just outside off the facing both direction. "Where are you Abbey!" Luke chided as he grew impatient.

For a moment, Tuula glanced up at Luke and the rugged handsomeness of a marine who had just been in a fight. But then her adrenaline kicked in and pushed those voices she had been plagued with ever since that one night with Jynn out of her head. She pushed herself over towards the biobed that Keval had been placed upon and quickly got her hands bloody using an autosuture and vascular regenerator to control the bleeding.

"You're going to be all right," she said, breathing heavily as she focused intently on the wound. It was by no means a sure thing; she would be racing against time before the blood loss and the shock... she glanced up at Keval's face. "Olsam, he's going into shock, give him some carazine! And something for the pain!"

At first, Keval had thought the wound superficial, or at least minor. That had lasted about ten seconds before the pain hit him. It felt as though ice cold needles had launched themselves from his leg directly to the center of his brain. That was when he had collapsed and the Terran insurgent had, had to pick him up. The pain had only intensified as he was unceremoniously carried to sick bay.

Now as he looked up at Tuula his face was contorted and a very, very pale blue. His antennae were both limp and hanging to either side. The whole room was spinning crazily on its axis. "I... don't... want...to...lose... my di.. anything."

"You're not going to lose anything as long as you lay still," replied Tuula. She glanced down at a reading on the digital imager on the biobed. "It's still there and intact, if that's what you're worried about. And somewhat larger than average, if I do say so myself," she added.

Despite the pain, and the fear of what was happening, Keval managed an ever so slight smile. "I'll take that as a compliment," he said. The pain was subsiding, if only slightly. "Am I really going to be okay?"

"Well, okay is difficult to judge," replied Tuula, quickly working to stanch the bleeding from the wound. "Some would say it's not the size that matters, but..."

Allyndra was getting calls from all over the ship. Some people might make their way here but who knew when, if and finally if the Empire people would allow or be in the way. Still there was a job to do and she basically had to get as much done in the time allotted.

Well there was one officer that would not be fazed too much by the weaponry and could make the rounds, though for how long would be the question.

"Computer activate, Emergency Medical Hologram Shirley please!"

The hologram dutifully appeared a few moments later, her usual chirpy attitude making it apparent she hadn't been studying the sensor feeds whilst she was offline.

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency."

"We have been boarded by hostiles. There are casualties all over the ship and I need you to do your best in rendering aid since some may not be able to get here." Allyndra told the holographic doctor. "Be prepared though that emitters and computer could be compromised at any time."

"Very well. Accessing internal sensors and assessing casulty levels. Standing by to provide support" The hologram replied, heading for the storage lockers and the medkits within.

"Thank you Doctor and please be careful. We are never sure what these kind will do or attempt to do." Allyndra said to Shirley.

"Everyone, if hostiles enter, they will demand we surrender our arms. Do so, we are healers here and need to remind them as such."

Deck 1 - Bridge

As the doors to the circular bridge opened, Stace stood up to greet the boarding party with a ceremonial hand on her phaser. She knew that she had to surrender it as soon as the party established command of deck one, but in case they came through the doors guns blazing, she wanted to at least show some resistance. She turned to Holliday (her Holliday) and then took a final sweep around the room at her crew.

Cyrin had his back pressed up against his console, eyes round with fear but otherwise was staying as calm as he could. As soon as the bridge was breached he touched the phaser at his waist briefly but then his hands wrapped around his abdomen instead. Fighting was only going to get people killed of course, and he had someone else to look out for. The scientist turned his gaze to Norvi for just a moment, wondering if she was as worried about Stace as he was about Xanth.

Standing beside Xanth, Andreus Kohl hardly knew where to look first. He too stood with his back to the aft science stations. Some primal part of Kohl was determined to stare down the intruders. There was no defiance in his gaze; he simply needed to size them up, to understand the threat they posed. On Galileo's first mission, the ship had been invaded by rogue Klingons; later, the ship had been invaded by retrofitted Borg; and now they were being taken over by... what? By evil Humans? Kohl pondered just how Human his Argelian physiology appeared to be. At the same time, his eyes kept wandering back to Cyrin and Jaana, determined to keep watch over them. He would step in if they were threatened, or if one of them attempted a foolishly heroic act, but he wasn't terribly sure what stepping in would consist of. He suspected he wouldn't know until it happened.

The turbolift was filled with Empire soldiers - four security officers emerging first, compression rifles aimed squarely at the first crew members they clapped eyes on. Towards the rear another figure stepped through, one that the crew was already familiar with. Clad head to toe in what appeared to be a cross between leather armour and combat fatigues, stood the mirror version of the Galileo's Commanding Officer.

Stepping forward he surveyed the Bridge crew, before moving to the front of the pack, resting his hand on his own phaser strapped to his waist.

"This vessel is now under the control of the Terran Empire. You are to surrender your weapons and relinquish control to my forces immediately. Non-compliance will be met with lethal force."

Jonathan leapt to his feet at the sound of his counterpart barking orders. Looking around he saw the security officers that had boarded his Bridge already moving towards the Conn, Tactical and Ops consoles, with the fourth staying back to cover their leader.

"You heard the man." John called out to his crew. Every fiber of his being wanted to fight back, but right now the casualty risk was simply too high. Leading by example he quickly removed his phaser from it's holster and tossed it to the floor ahead of the General.

=^=All hands this is Captain Holliday. You are hereby ordered to stand down and relinquish your weapons to representatives of the Terran Empire. I have assurances that no harm will come to anyone if we comply. Once again this is a direct order. Holliday out. =^=

Stace shot a look to her Holliday. Not one of disappointment or of loss of respect (for she too knew the strength it took to lay down before your more powerful enemy more than most) but of silent acknowledgement as her slender hand moved to grip the handle of her phaser. She unstrapped it and then, in a defiant gesture, pulled it out aloft as she opened her hand, allowing it to limply tumble to the floor. She looked to the other Holliday and with a flick of her head, regarded him with a look of distaste.

Min removed her phaser from it's holster and placed it down on the front of her console before she stepped back, keeping her hands where the TE soldiers could see them. Her life was now in the hands of this alternate version of themselves and as her duplicate stepped over towards her. Min couldn't help but notice how her counterpart moved, seductive but also aggressive.

With a deep breath, Cyrin slowly reached down to his waist and pulled the phaser free then just as slowly placed it on the floor. He took a step back, hands raised, tried to keep control of his fear. It wasn't as hard as he'd thought it would be. Seeing the doppelgangers that had walked out of the turbolift was curious, fascinating, even if they were in serious danger here. Cyrin stayed quiet, unmoving, but watchful.

Kohl set his phaser on the deck at the same time Cyrin had done so. Only he released the phaser, Kohl noticed that his hand was shaking. He was quick to stand up straight and fold his hands behind his back. Consciously, he wasn't totally sure what that was, or why that was happening. He tried very hard not to think about the last time an invading force had come aboard the ship to enforce the crew's compliance, and he tried very hard not to think about what state that experience had left him.

Rushing around from behind the general, Lamar swiftly moved forward into the tiny ship's cramped bridge and swept his rifle from person to person to make sure each of them was complying with his commander's orders. "Show me your hands!" he yelled, before moving forward and retrieving the dropped weapons and handing them to the other security members present.

He then moved point-blank to the spotted lady and put the barrel of his gun in her face. "On your knees! Now!" Lamar could spot a filthy Trill from a mile away. And her fake-Human collaborators. Part of him wanted to relinquish his weapon and pull out his knife to cut the alien from her belly, but he would only do so if the general ordered.

Stace's face didn't flinch, but her eyes betrayed an internal terror that pierced out through the green. She took in a final free breath before, placing both hands behind her head beneath her hairpin, she lowered herself down onto her left and then right knee. She looked up to the security man still pointing his rifle and with a cock of her head and a flash of her eyebrow indicated her annoyed compliance. She then looked about the crew both she and Holliday shared. It was terrifying to see them at another's mercy and be unable to help.
