=^=Sickbay this is the Bridge - Medical team to Engineering. =^=

"Is that the captain?" Olsam asked no one in particular. He tapped his combadge and cheerily replied, "Understood, we'll dispatch an emergency medic as soon as possible."

"Go to them," said Tuula, at Olsam's side. "I can hold down the fort here," she added looking up at him. With all the debris strewn around the ship, she wasn't exactly the best candidate to take on the role of a medic. As she looked up at him, her eyes longed for the vote of confidence from the man she cared about that leaving her to handle sickbay would entail.

"Hmm," Olsam said, doing a quick sweep of the room. It didn't take him long to nod. "Yep, okay. Don't break anything until I get back. Unless it's Shirley. You can break that." He grinned, winked at her, and went to pack up for the bridge.

And Now, the Continuation...

[ON]

Deck 4 - Main Shuttlebay

As the gravity was restored and the weight began to settle, Tinaro felt anew the pain in his chest and shoulder and his breathing became labored. His Commbadge beeped as the internal communications were restored and Tinaro tapped his commbadge.

=^=Lt. Cyi to Sickbay - Medical personnel to Main Shuttlebay, please. =^= Tinaro said weakly. He was exhausted from his injuries so he could no longer maintain his emotional block from Wintrow.

Crouching, Wintrow shrugged out of his jacket, while easing his boss to the deck. "You'll be alright," he murmured, his own anxiety suddenly forgotten now that he had someone who needed help. "Chief!" he called out to Lamar, "I need a medkit...just something to help him manage his pain." It was giving him a headache, the intensity that he sensed.

Medkit...medkit...hmm, Lamar pondered in his head, trying to think of the closest available one. There were certainly a few in the bay's storage lockers, but there was also one in the nearby Type-9 shuttle that was a bit closer. And with gravity now online, the chief warrant officer found himself sprinting to Virginia's main hatch. He released the seal and pulled the door upwards, then ducked inside and retrieved the kit from the aft compartment before scrambling back over towards the cadet and the junior officer. "Medkit!" he called out, handing it over to Wintrow.

All but yanking the medkit out of Lamar's hands, the young pilot seemed to have forgotten about his anxiety and shyness for the moment. "Don't speak sir," he instructed the stricken officer, "medical is on the way, I'm just going to give you some pain relief. You aren't allergic are you?"

Ti shook his head to the negative. He wasn't allergic to anything the young cadet was likely to give him. He felt the rush of the hypo and small numbing that came with the pain reliever. Ti had built up a sizable tolerance to do to the many broken bones had has had over this lifetime of fast and loose living. The small relief it granted, however, was very welcome.

Cargo Bay

Allyndra heard the call on the comm badge and new that currently others where busy in sickbay. She and the Naois had reached the cargo bay ans she shrugged. "I will answer that call, please if you can continue here."

"Acknowledged," Naois answered, "I will manage and I will prep for your patient."

"Thank you, I appreciate it very much." Allyndra responded.

=^=Allyndra here, responding to shuttlebay emergency.=^= She grabbed a medical kit and headed that way. Lamar worked there and she hoped it was not him. There was one last thing to do now that it appeared the ship was getting back under control.

"Computer please activate EMH."

The holoemitters dutifully whirred into life as the power flowed back into their systems, the petite form of the EMH materialising across Sickbay as instructed.

"Please state the nature of the Medical Emergency....oh....I have a gap in my chronometer records....did main power go offline?"

"Yes, no time right now but glad that you are online again. We have medical emergencies in the shuttlebay and Engineering. I am responding to the former please handle the latter doctor. Depending on who gets back first we are also trying to get this cargo bay set up as triage."

"Very well Doctor." The EMH replied, taking a moment to download what information she could on the state of the ship from internal sensors, what few of them were even registering let alone actually working.

"Computer transfer the EMH program to Main Engineering." And with that, she was gone.

Deck 4 - Main Shuttlebay

The hatch for the Jefferies tube opened and the small Exocomp came bursting out at top speed, raising high into the space to scan the shuttlebay down with his sensors. He detected three Flesh-machines, with a couple more on their way. He assessed the vitals of the Flesh-machines and satisfied that they were still operational continued on to his job assignment seemingly ignoring those there. He headed towards the nearest shuttle and began by replicating tiny metal arms and prying open panels.

What the hell is that thing? Lamar wondered incredulously. He'd never seen an exocomp before and was alarmed when the tiny hovering machine suddenly burst into the scene and made break towards the Type-9. "Hey, you!" he called out after Copper, wondering exactly what it was doing.

Rather than turn towards Lamar who had taken to yelling at Copper, he continued his work on the shuttle preparing it to be patched into the communications network of the ship. His scans of the Flesh-machines detected a high level of stress reactions among them including high blood pressure, perspiration, increased heart and breathing rates among others. While he worked he scanned through the recommended music for calm and tranquility that he understood Flesh-machines reacted to. He selected one, and began playing Claude Debussy's Prelude to the 'Afternoon Of A Faun.' loud enough to fill the small shuttlebay with the supposedly calm music.

What the f--k...... Lamar's eyes went wide and he tried to understand what the machine was doing. Some sort of psychological-machine warfare, probably, but before the former-Marine could wrap his head around the sounds of the melodies and the lyrics, more pressing matters began to ensue.

Unfortunately for the flying flight controller, once gravity was restored Jynn had found himself moving at a somewhat slower than desired pace as he found himself footbound again. Torpedoing through the corridor he had landed with an almost graceful tuck and tumble as gravity took hold of him again, suddenly having to rely on his feet again to get him to the shuttlebay.

A few more moments than Jynn had hoped and he had found himself in Galileo's main shuttlebay. He looked around quickly as he assessed the damage done. Shuttles: Check. Music: Check (What?) Crew: Damn. People were hurt. The place was a mess and as much as he wanted to help he knew he had to get more power to Galileo. He wasn't a nurse anyway. Or a conductor. "We need to plug the shuttles into Galileo's power system," he shouted to no one in particular over the somewhat captivating music as he started getting the procedure underway.

"Sir," Lamar acknowledged as soon as he saw his chief come into the shuttlebay. "Good to see you're okay. What do you have planned?" he asked as he moved away from the injured Cyi and approached the Deltan man.

"An ingeniously simple plan, my friend," Jynn replied with a not-so-subtle smirk. "Galileo needs power and our shuttles have the warp cores needed to make power. So we just plug them on in and give her a bit of a jolt! The myriad uses of such small craft. Now, shall we," he questioned to Lamar, looking about the mess in the bay for the tools required.

"What do you want to use for an interface?" asked Lamar. There was no doubt going to be a lot of power being transferred from the small warp core through Galileo's EPS grid, and he was worried about a potential overload. "Maybe we can jerry-rig something?"

"We can use the cables that are used for shuttle hot-starts and maintenance requiring external power. We'll just plug on in and fire up the warp cores in the shuttles to a reasonably safe level and channel the energy into Galileo's EPS grid. You take Virginia, I'll take Marina!" What lovely names, Jynn thought to himself as he ran over to the recessed access hatch a short distance away from the runabout on the floor.

With a heavy tug and a lift he opened the access panel and started to drag out the heavy cable that lay beneath it. It would have probably been a two man job to have it done with ease but time was of the essence. He was sure his back would make him regret the decision at a later time. As he dragged the cable to the shuttle he realized he needed to relay the message to engineering. "Computer, please patch me through to engineering!" He didn't want to drop what he was doing to activate his commbadge and so had decided to request the computer's assistance just as politely as he could.

=^="Jynn to engineering. Expect a power influx from main shuttlebay momentarily"=^=

In his weakened state, Grayson tapped his comm badge =/\= "Thanks, we can use all we can get right now, Engineering out." =/\=

Upon receiving his orders, Lamar moved over to the access panel and acquired his own large and hefty power cord. With a solid grip on the grounded wire, the former-Marine grunted as he dragged the cable across the landing pad and towards Virginia. Once close enough for a proper connection, he let go of the hefty cable which sounded loudly as it flopped onto the ground, after which he moved along the shuttle's side and opened the primary power coupling hatch. After a few manual tinkers with the interface, he then returned to the cable and dragged it over and lifted it up to his shoulder before placing it into the desired slot. A loud click sounded to signify a solid connection, and he then turned the coupling clockwise to secure it to the shuttle.

"Ready to go here!" he called out to Jynn.

"Great," Jynn shouted back as he heard a loud click of his own, the cable firmly attached to Marina. As he headed towards the access hatch to get to the cockpit he yelled to Lamar "start 'em up," as he signaled by twirling a finger high in the air. A moment later and he was sat before Marina's controls. Just as gently as he could, but still quickly, he fired up her engine with a burst of life that would hopefully resuscitate the ailing Galileo. With the engines running Jynn quickly made his way back to the bridge, bidding farewell to the shuttlebay staff though lamenting the fact that if the comms had come back online sooner he would not have had to run around so much just to get things done.
