Previously, on Through the Breach (Part 9)...

"Ready to go here!" he called out to Jynn.

"Great," Jynn shouted back as he heard a loud click of his own, the cable firmly attached to Marina. As he headed towards the access hatch to get to the cockpit he yelled to Lamar "start 'em up," as he signaled by twirling a finger high in the air. A moment later and he was sat before Marina's controls. Just as gently as he could, but still quickly, he fired up her engine with a burst of life that would hopefully resuscitate the ailing Galileo. With the engines running Jynn quickly made his way back to the bridge, bidding farewell to the shuttlebay staff though lamenting the fact that if the comms had come back online sooner he would not have had to run around so much just to get things done.

And Now, the Continuation...

[ON]

Allyndra headed toward the shuttle bay again with those slight flicks but then the gravs came back on and she landed heavily on her knees and palms. "Ouch, damn that hurt but get yourself up." She pushed back up and then sprinted down the corridors. One thing she was excellent at doing. She reached the shuttlebay and looked around for Lamar. She saw Wintrow though huddled over someone else and headed that way.

Thankfully it was not Lamar but Lieutenant Cyi. "Easy, easy, let us get a look shall we?" Allyndra pulled the tricorder medical probe. She frowned at the injuries but at least nothing that she could not give an analgesic for. "I am giving you something to relieve the pain." She pulled a hypospray and dialed in a goodly amount and then pressed it to his arm.

Before she could hit the release, Wintrow stayed her hand. "I already gave him one," he reported, showing her the vial he had used as well as the hypospray. "I don't know if it's sufficient, but overdosing wouldn't be good, would it?" He didn't mean to sound as if he were lecturing a fully qualified medical doctor but he didn't want to see the lieutenant hurt further through an accidental over dosage.

"High....tolerance." Cyi replied weakly though clenched teeth. He was proud of Wintrow for mentioning the fact of his previous dosage to the doctor, but he really really wanted to be able to unlock his jaw, currently the only thing keeping him for yelling out in pain.

Allyndra nodded. "I picked it up. This should not interfere." She went ahead and pressed the hypo. She glanced briefly at Wintrow and said gently, "Good job." She looked around and shook her head, "Wish that a Danube class was here rather than a tin can D-9. The former have their own biobeds in place."

"You have a three broken ribs, a collar bone along with quite a bit of muscle bruising," Allyndra told Cyi. "We will have to transport you, but not sure if transporters working or not. I am going to say let us not take the chance."

She then looked at Wintrow and heard other noise in the bay. "Are you injured? Are there others?"

Wintrow just smiled at the compliment, not really sure how else to respond to one. "But shuttles do have their own containment," he suggested, "and probably ability to switch off gravity? Or at least, reduce it?" He shook his head slightly at her question. "I'm not sure if Chief Lamar is completely uninjured beyond his pride ma'am," he reported softly, "I'm just feeling slightly dizzy, I hit my head when gravity went offline."

He looked down at Cyi, watching him closely. "I'll stay with him ma'am...until we can transport."

"Let's take a look at that head of yours," Allyndra said and started a scan. "The good news, no concussion, but you have a small hemato. It will hurt for awhile but should resolve." She did not want to give him anything quite yet since he was needed to handle Cyi.

She got up and went to look for Lamar. "Lamar? Lamar? Can you hear me?" She knew she probably have just done rank but it seemed moot at the moment.

"...over here!" came his muffled voice from behind the Type-9 shuttlecraft sitting in the middle of the bay. He was currently preoccupied helping his department head hotwire the shuttle's warp reactor and interface it with Galileo's power grid.

Allydnra breathed and sigh and headed over. "Is everyone else here alright?"

"I think so...?" he called out once again. He wasn't exactly sure about the details of the injuries that had been sustain -- if any, but as far as he and Jynn were concerned, they were both doing well. Wintrow seemed to be unharmed as well which was a relief, and it seemed as if the assistant department head was the only one who needed attention.

Allyndra breathed a big sigh. "Thank the Twins! Alright, I have someone injured though I may need help."

Allydnra returned back to Win and Cyi. "Wintrow we are going to see about getting Cyi moved. Come with me, the shuttle should have a grav sled on it."

Unsteadily getting to his feet, Wintrow gave Cyi a reassuring look. "We'll be back," he promised, a little reluctant to leave the injured man alone.

"I'll be right here." Ti replied calmly. He knew the young cadet was trying to be comforting, but Ti was not one who enjoyed being taken care of. A shot of pain ran though his chest again. Okay maybe they could hurry just a bit.

The teenager followed Allyndra to the shuttle. "It should have one," he agreed as he climbed inside, then held out his hand to help her inside as well. "Careful ma'am, it may get a wee cramped for your wings," he suggested as he rummaged around a storage area. "Can't we use the shuttle transporters to get him to sickbay instead?"

"Type 9s do not have a transporter on them. Danube class does. Lamar taught me that. Anyway, he is attempting to use the shuttles power to help the ship so I am afraid it is the old fashion way little brother. Ah here we are, a grav sled. Come help me." Allyndra worked the device loose and activated it.

Taking the other end, Wintrow helped her steer the sled clear of the shuttle and towards the injured pilot.

She looked at Win and asked, "Little brother are you up to doing this? " She would call him Win or Cadet in more formal settings but here and now she defaulted to using the term they had used on the holodeck.

"Yes ma'am," Wintrow replied formally, feeling a little uncomfortable with terms of endearment in front of one of his superior officers. "I'll tell you if at any point my dizziness gets worse. I want to help." He gave her an encouraging smile in the hope she'd let him. "Just tell me what to do."

Allydnra activated the stretcher/sled and it immediately bobbed gently off the floor. "We need to get Cyi. Now then at any time," she looked at Win directly. "You feel too bad you stop alright?"

"As I just said ma'am," Wintrow confirmed, keeping the other end under control.

She guided the stretcher/sled back to Cyi and did another quick scan. He was not any worse and she lowered the stretcher/sled down next to him. "We are going to move you and take you to sickbay where I can more properly attend to you. Do you understand?"

"Yes." Ti managed to get out between clenched teeth.

Allyndra got down on her knees at Cyi's head and indicated that Win should got to his feet. She slipped her arms under Cyi's and indicated that Win should grab his legs. "Now we are going to shift you. Cadet," she went back to formality as they were in public again. "Are you ready?"

Wintrow slipped his arms under Cyi's legs, making sure to keep both pant and sleeve between them just in case to minimize any risk to skin contact. "Ready doctor," he replied.

"Very well, on three. One...Two...Threee..." She used all her strength to shift the man over. She did another scan to make sure nothing extra had gone wrong and nodded. "Good, do you feel anything more amiss?"

Ti shook his head in the negative, his jaw cleached to keep from saying something inappropriate. That hurt like hell. He closed his eyes and waited for it all to be over.

"Alright then, we shall be as gentle as we can be." Once on the grav stretcher it was easy to guide and she just had to basically push it along. She wanted to check the Cadet over as well.

"You did well..." she almost wanted to say little brother but instead just said, "Cadet. I will make note of your action in your record. Come on let us get you both checked out and healed up. "

"Understood ma'am," the boy replied, still not sure how to respond to a compliment. It was obvious, he had no idea how to respond to one at all, not really used to getting them in the first place. Walking next to the sled, he made sure it didn't bump into anything while the CMO pushed it along and he kept an eye on the stricken pilot on the sled, just in case.

Allyndra knew sickbay would be overcrowded and headed toward the cargo bay triage. She still did not trust that they might have another power interruption and thus not set up the holodeck.

Everything had been neatly set up and techs and trained medics were attending the patients.

She got some of the stored instruments and went to work on Cyi and then worked on Wintrow. It was going to be a very long day.
