"I do not mind, I am a doctor after all, but perhaps it might cause less problems if your girlfriend wanted to do this?" Allyndra replied while digging out the cream from her small travel bag. At least she had presumed that was a girlfriend.

"Girlfriend?" the teen choked out, glancing over at Nesh. "Oh no ma'am, she's not my girlfriend...not like that anyway. Nesh is my roommate."

Allyndra blushed herself at her faux pas. She just had assumed and well had definitely had made herself the first three letters of the word to that Terran animal.
"Oh?, Oh!, I do apologize," she said quietly hoping none of the others had caught too much. "Well then, let's get this on you." She quickly rubbed the ointment in over the exposed skin. "This will hold for several hours, here take the rest," she handed the tube over.

Quinn shook his head and grinned. "All you need now, son is a collar around your neck and a green tint and you'll look almost like the rest of the guys aroubd here."

If possible, Wintrow's face turned an even darker shade of red.

Allyndra did not comment out loud but her thoughts were, "Well what is wrong with that?" For a moment she could picture Lamar here, a slight glisten to his dark skin and with just a minimal amount of clothing. The mental picture was definitely enough to get a girl excited.

Quinn chuckled at the comments, but kept on walking with the group.

Luke had been walking alone with the group a smile played along his lips as they crew shared jokes at the expense of the young crewman. He had already prepared for the climate however and during transit had converted to Kahaki shorts and a patterned shirt which found itself now completely unbuttoned. "Dont let them get to you Mr Paragon, and there is nothing wrong with being like the rest of the guys around here" He winked. "Believe me"

"I'm trying sir," Wintrow responded jovially, though his cheeks were still burning bright red in embarassment, "but thank you."

"It was my pleasure" Luke said let out a low meaningful chuckle before moving to the front of the group to see what other conversation had stuck out.

Pushing forward from the pillar she'd been leaning against, an Orion woman moved forward to the group with elegant, long strides, a small smile on her lips. She was tall and athletic in build, her hair long and dark, allowed free over her bare shoulders. She was what some called that 'certain age', when a woman looked her best...confident, comfortable in her own skin and with natural beauty to go with it. "I was starting to think I might need to send a search party...." Aila Saalm winked before moving for her daughters, pulling them close without care for what rank they might or might not have in regards to the others. That was not important to her, not now.

Lirha let out a sigh of relief when she finally saw her mother, then moved close for her mandatory hug. "We were wondering where you were," she briefly chided before looking back towards the others in her group. "These are my friends who came for the wedding. Allyndra, Luke, Markum, Aria, Dorian, and Wintrow," she introduced. "And you already know Siren."

Afraid he might get a hug too, Wintrow held back a little and just waved shyly while muttering a polite greeting.

Quinn stepped forward, sure he wasn't obviously drooling, but not knowing for certain. He had seen, and been with his share of women during his lengthy career, but none had captivated him like this. "Miss Saalm, I'm Markum Quinn. It is an honor to meet the mother of Lirha. I see where she gets her natural beauty."

"And I see where human men get their reputation," Aila replied lightly, but with a coy smile as she held her hand out palm down for him to take, clearly making the assumption he was human without apology. "I had no idea that my girl was admired so, I can't imagine why it has taken so long for her to get married...."

Quinn took the offered hand and slightly bowed and bent a knee while kissing the top of the hand softly. He then returned her hand. "I've kept a close eye on her while aboard the Galileo. She's just damn picky."

Aila smiled at the display, her eyes shining with the attention as she bowed her head to the side in respect of his generosity. "Like mother, like daughter perhaps?" she left it hanging, not clearing up if she meant it or if it was sarcasm on how unalike they could be at times.

"Mama!" Nesh hopped past the group, bounding toward Aila and babbling in Yvreish about all the 'cool adventures' she had been through and also, "Don't listen to Lirha, I've done nothing wrong, Mama!"

"Who, you?" Aila replied lightly, arching an eyebrow with a small, knowing smile, even as she hugged her affectionately. "Never....."

Yes...nothing wrong. She only unleashed the tribbocalypse aboard Galileo during just her second mission, Lirha thought, rolling her eyes and giving her sister one of those looks. But she kept her mouth shut and didn't mention it, and instead smiled and nodded.

"Is your hovercar nearby? I think we are all anxious to get to the hotel and get settled," she said to Aila. "Ten days of traveling means I need a mud bath and a hot shower."

Aila nodded, giving a casual gesture with a 'come hither' finger before turning, sliding the sunglases on as they walked towards the car, moving with a sway to her step. "And refreshments. I have a spread ready and waiting. I shall not take no for answer," she assured firmly, opening the large, cool hover car up for them. "Inside, my darlings, let us begin the festivities in style...."

Lirha didn't hesitate at the invitation, and followed her mothers queue and motioned all of the group inside of the spacious car. She chucked her duffel bags through the back compartment storage area then climbed into the back seat behind Aila.

Quinn stood at the storage compartment and after stuffing his bag in, her took each of the other's bags as well, waiting to be the last one in.

Allyndra handed her small bag over to Quinn who was being a gentleman and helping load the vehicle. She made a curtsey to Alla and said, "Thank you for you graciousness Lady. May the Twins bring blessings on your House and that it propser."

Nesh frowned as severely as she could, following after her mother and Lirha to the car, bags being towed behind her, and Wintrow all but forgotten for the current moment. "It wasn't that bad! Only a few tribbles!"

Quinn entered into the vehicle and sat down, occasionally stealing a glance of Mrs. Saalm.

Wintrow hurried after Nesh, draging his own (few) belongings with him. He stuffed them in the back of the car then ducked inside to claim a space next to his roommate/date.

Aila took control of the vehicle to drive them across the metropolis, driving manually and enjoying the freedom it gave her. The scale of the city was on show as they drove, the hotel not the closest, but it was certainly better than the others they could have been conned into using closer to where they landed. She wasn't having her daughters slung into a hovel and being overcharged for the priviledge. No, her daughters were staying at the Tabadi, the jewel of the west city, whether they liked it or not.

"Here we are," she announced with a small smile playing on her lips as they pulled up to the large, sleek building, the doors automatically sliding open for them. "I don't think I need to remind you to enjoy yourselves...."

Quinn smiled at Aila before getting out. "I hope to see you soon."

Allyndra watched the interaction from the back seat. It was obvious who Quinn was interested in. She just shook her head and silently wished him 'good luck hunting.'

Departing the hovercar from the opposite side doors, Lirha proceeded to help Siren out with an offered green hand while her other arm was occupied with the duffel bags currently slung over her shoulder. She stole a quick glance at the hotel they had just arrived in front of and let her eyes travel upwards to admire the large structure. Tabadi she happily mused to herself. It the cream of the crop as far as Vajripam's guest accommodations were concerned, and she privately wondered how much Aila had had to spend to reserve all of them rooms here.

"Mother, are you coming up to stay with us or show us our rooms?" she asked through the car's window. Hopefully Aila wouldn't just drop them off and leave -- as much as Lirha found her a bit overbearing at times, she still loved her very much and hadn't spent quality time with her in a long while.

A positively beaming smile came to Aila at the invitation. It had been something she had hoped for, but at the same time had wanted to wait to be asked. "Well if you insist," she said softly as she got out of the car, as if she were doing a favour, but there was a distinct playfulness that betrayed she knew her daughters would see through it. She motioned to the staff with a single hand, the young men moving quickly to take their luggage to the rooms.

Lirha hailed one of the hotel's valet personnel who quickly came over and hopped in the hovercar's driver seat once Aila had exited. The last thing she wanted was for her mother's car to get towed on their first day.

"How many rooms did you get us?" she wondered out loud while she walked inside the hotel lobby with the rest of the group.

"Three suites, but each suite has two private double rooms within," Aila spoke in standard so they would all know the arrangements. "One room for you and your bride to be...another for Nesh and her plus one, young Mr Paragon....the third for Miss Rice and her plus one Mr West....another for Ms Warraquim...and one for Mr Quinn here....and last, but by no means least, one for Mr Wyatt. How you wish to take your rooms between the three suites is up to you."

"Double rooms?" Wintrow cast his roommate a somewhat shy look. "But single beds...I hope?" Otherwise this was going to be extremely awkward for them, he reasoned.

"I hope not," chimed in Lirha while giving her fiance an affectionate squeeze around her slim waist. The thought of her and Siren sleeping in separate beds was very undesirable.

"I can sleep any where, on any thing," Replied Quinn, "Though a warm bed is always preferable."

"Oh, you shall find more than that to ease your travel weary souls..." Aila chuckled softly, leading them forward with a wave of an elegant hand for the others to follow. "Come, my darlings, let us begin in style...."
