The shuttle now began to fly into the shuttlebay of the station, and Eve watched as Cho masterfully lands the shuttlecraft. When the hum of the engines faded Evelyn looked at the young officer, "Excellent work." she smiled, rising from her seat. "Alright, let head out."

Willis stood and collected his gear and began to exit the craft. "Now for the fun stuff, pillaging and plundering a Starbase Computer Core."

With her first landing since the academy under her belt Kiri was feeling better about herself. She had been praised and while she found how the others talked, uncomfortable she seemed to be interacting okay. Then that was what she thought all the other times it went wrong. Before leaving she locked down the shuttlecraft she made sure that she could maintain contact with it via her commbadge. Placing it in standby mode with command code locked controls she checked her phaser and tricorder before slinging the medical kit back over her shoulder. All that done she followed the other two, trying to remain as focused as she could.

And Now, the Continuation...

Walking out of the shuttle Evelyn looked around to see if their assigned "escort" she liked to call him, was around. Her eyes caught a man in a science uniform walked towards them. "Lt. Coleman, USS Galileo." She introduced herself, "where is Doctor Hardaway?" she asked.

The science officer for a moment chose to ignore the Lieutenant, instead preferring to continue studying whatever set of data happened to be on his PADD at the time. After a moment he looked up, made eye contact, and finally lowered his PADD to facilitate communication.

"Most likely in the central research chamber - but you'll need an escort. Outsiders can't just wander around in here unaided"

Looking over his shoulder, the dark haired scientist caught the attention of a fellow officer, this time clad in the yellow uniform of operations, with a phaser attached to his hip, mistaking him for anything but a security officer would be difficult. He quickly walked towards the assembled group, ignoring them just as the scientist had done and instead choosing to converse with his colleague in muted whispers facing away from Coleman.

"So..." he began "You need to see Hardaway....alright, follow me. You'll stay in a group at all times, no scanning devices will be permitted in the corridors, and anyone who attempts to separate themselves from me will be considered a security threat, is that understood?"

Coleman looked at him, Didn't know this was Fort Knox she thought to herself, as she nodded. "Yes, sir, understood." She looked behind her at her team. "We all got that." she said confidently, turning back to the security officer, proceeding to follow him.

Still unsure of the situation and finding it herself overly secure Kiri also followed suit. The first aid kit slung over her shoulder, though she did take a moment to turn her tricorder from standby to off. Going by what had happened on the bridge before, she actually expected to be searched. While she had the physical parameters, of which they may or may not have reference. There was no real knowing of who she was, there were several cases of officers being controlled or replaced in Starfleet. The same could be said of the other two with her, while Wills had helped her, either of them could be behind the problems with the computer that had her chasing her own tail. When it came to trust, she wasn't certain of anyone on the ship. All the while she walked behind the security officer and Eve, doing her best to keep her tired brain alert.

As the proceeded towards the Central Research Chamber, Evelyn turned to the security escort. "So, enjoying your posting here?" She asked, wanted to relieve some of the stress of the situation.

"I do my duty Lieutenant. Nothing more. How long until your teams leave this facility and we can get back to our work?"

The security officer seemed to be in no mood for pleasantries, and seemed almost happy when they finally reached the entrance to the central lab chamber. The outer door was huge, even by Starfleet standards and seemed to be reinforced with additional layers, internal force fields and blast proof hinges. The officer quickly moved to the side panel and placed his hand on a small panel. The panel quickly changed from a red background to a green one, before a section of the door receded into the floor, and a force field could be seen glimmering in the newly created gap.

"Personnel selective force field....each of you need to be scanned by this device here before you will be permitted entry. Attempting to do so without the approval of the base computer will trigger a lockdown. Dr Hardaway is inside."

Evelyn hated those scanners. When Starfleet first engineered them it sent shivers down her spine reminding her of the Borg. She was the first to step through the force field, feeling the energy scan every cell of her body. Once through she stepped to the side and waited for the others to join her.

Kiri followed suit, feeling much happier that the most important parts at least were secure. It was comforting to be so safe, it would also prove that the others with her where who they said they were. Though all that meant was they were with Starfleet, not that they were unable to commit sabotage.

Willis stepped through, not minding the scanning. He was preparing himself for the large data-dump he was about to assist in.

Once her team was successfully scanned Evelyn turned her attention to the path ahead. The remaining doors unlocked and began to slide open. Evelyn entered and her eyes widen almost in awe of the Central Research Chamber. The openness of the chamber's architecture made it appear larger than it should be. Her eyes noticed a man at the center of the working at the circular work station.

She walked down the small ramp to the main level and made her way to the man. As she got glimpses of his face she recognized him as Hardaway from his file. "Doctor Hardaway?" she called out gently as she approached him.

Anthony looked up, frowning slightly. "More Galileo crew?" he asked them in a curt tone.

Kiri looked around the room for a few seconds, finding several things of interest while holding her position relative to the others. Unless she was invited to she wouldn't speak up, she wasn't leading the mission and she didn't have anything to say as it was.

Evelyn nodded, "Yes Doctor. I'm Evelyn Coleman from the Galileo." She gestured towards her team, "Ensign Kiri Cho and CPO Arthur Willis." She turned back to him, "We're evacuating the station of everyone associated with the Project and will need your assistance to transfer the files off the station's Computer core."
