Mission: Episode 07 - Sojourn
Location: USS Galileo - Deck 3, Tuula and Jaana's quarters
Timeline: MD -01 17.00 hours

For the rest of her shift, Tuula carefully rehearsed in her head how she would break the news to her sister. Outside the door, she ran over it one last time before entering.

"Jaana," she called out. "I need to talk to you about--" upon seeing the Bolian seated at their kitchen table, she froze. "--what the hell is he doing here?"

"Believe me when I say I brought him for a reason." Jaana said. When she saw Zuwtt not doing anything but stare at her sister she decided to just throw in the subject, instead of dancing around it. "What happened to your baby?"

"Get him out of here," replied Tuula, gritting her teeth in anger.

"No." she said sternly. "We need to talk! You two need to talk. Then he will leave." at the last sentence she looked at Zuwtt.

"I don't have anything I need to talk to him about," replied Tuula, balling up her firsts. "Get this Rigellian swamp-rat out of our quarters."

"Oh please," replied Zuwtt. "Rigellian swamp-rat? Come on, I'm not that bad."

"You are," started Tuula, making her way towards the kitchen, "without a doubt, the worst person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I can't believe you have the audacity to come here, to sit down at my kitchen table." She turned to Jaana, her eyes shooting daggers. "And you! You know how I feel about this Denebian slime-devil. Why on Earth would you even think of bringing him here? Is this some kind of sick joke?"

Since they started yelling Jaana joined them. "I had to hear from him that you were pregnant!" she started. "Do you hear me? What happened!!"

"Did he also tell you about when he put me in the hospital? Twice?" she shot back, kitchen knife in hand. "Or did he leave that part out?"

Jaana looked at her with open mouth, stunned. What else had kept her sister from her?

"Tuula, I'm sorry," said Zuwtt. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I--"

"Save it, Ardon, that's what you said after the first time," interrupted Tuula, clutching the knife in her right hand with a white-knuckled death grip. She turned to her sister. "Jaana, I need to talk to you. But you need to get him out of here, or else I will." She turned back towards Zuwtt. "Zuwtt, I'm not afraid of you anymore," she managed to utter. Holding the knife between her teeth, she slowly advanced towards the Bolian.

"Jaana, keep her away from me," said Zuwtt, standing up from his chair. As he nervously stepped backwards, he found himself backed into a corner. His eyes fell on a set of antique objects a few feet away; a bizarre collection of sharp, pointy things which looked like either weapons or implements of torture.

"You're a grown up, act like one," Jaana said. "I can't believe I fell for that sad, 'Oh I loved her so much, she broke my heart, she was pregnant with my baby' bullshit. You played me.." she continued.

"What did you expect; it's Zuwtt," uttered Tuula through her clenched teeth, still holding the knife in her mouth.

"I..." facing the ire of two women, Zuwtt quickly reached for one of the blades on display; an antique scalpel. "Stay away from me..." he uttered nervously as he sidestepped towards the door, holding the blade of the scalpel between him and the women. When the door opened behind him, he dropped the scalpel and turned to run out the corridor.

Panting heavily, Tuula handed the knife, handle-first, to her sister. "I think we need to talk."
