Second Officer’s Log, supplemental:

Gamma Shift to Alpha Shift hand-over report.

USS Galileo remains docked at Jupiter Station; however, we have moved to docking port C. Jupiter Station dockmaster requested we relinquish our docking port to the larger USS Crazy Horse and we were able to accommodate this request without too much fuss.

Repairs to the ship continued as planned; the implementation of repairs is 7% ahead of the projections for this shift. Resupply activities are also 3% ahead of projections with the exception of the organic particulate suspension we use for the replicator’s raw food stock. I’m told we have wiped out the stock aboard Jupiter station. …We do love our replicated food aboard the Gal. I think that was one of the only systems that survived the upheaval through the vortex into the alternate universe. Ahem, Jupiter Station would prefer not to dip in to the stock they use to feed their own population, since Galileo remains mostly uninhabited. They are expecting a delivery of supplies at 1430 hours and their resupply efforts can continue at that point.

The level one diagnostic on the secondary deflector array is ongoing. Another catastrophic fault was identified, which has set back progress on the diagnostic by 17%.

There was one reported security incident, this shift, in transporter room two. However, I’m told it was a misunderstanding. There were no reported casualties this shift. …Sickbay sounded disappointed to report this.

Oh, and multi-purpose laboratory four was granted a 20% increase in its computer processing usage. They report a long-term experiment is in a critical stage, and much of our computer core remains dormant. Operations allowed this allocation, but I cautioned them it may only continue as long as the end of gamma shift. Take a look at the merits of the experiment for yourself before you decide if they really need it.

End Log.
