Personal Log: Lt Commander Dea Mialin

Being trapped in some mine with Cardassians is not how I want to die. Now I know why people are creeped out. I'd really like to say that science trumps zombies but yeah I can't not now. Two miners died right here in an attempt to get away from these creatures.

Close quarters combat in a mine against something...well yeah not sure what else to say there. Bad idea and well what can I say other than it makes us sound like we have a few screws loose. Either way we're past that now as I'm stuck here until we find a way out. This is happening and it sucks.

While I've been on bad away missions before this one truly classifies as the away mission from hell. Oh and then there's this tribble problem that well I hope my department can handle. Tribbles on a starship are a very, very bad idea.

I have no way to know how this is all going to end. Honestly I don't know how I'm going to explain any of this to anyone. Its all so surreal and terrifying. Beyond that words escape me. We better find a way out, thats all there is to it.
