This is a follow-up to the incident on the bridge and the meeting with the currently serving captain of this ship. I am attaching a copy of the incident on the bridge. I know that the meeting with the captain will be included in her log.

While I didn't want to do what I did. I did feel, as both medical and second officer, that the lives of this crew were at stake and that Captain Tarin was becoming emotionally blind to the situation at hand.

I believe the captain to be a fine officer. However, she has her passions. These can serve well but they can also interfere if not handled properly. I am not sure at the time, if I had simply suggested another course without the drama that she would have listened.

The situation we find ourselves in is definitely a strange and stressful one. I will admit that is the case, and we are all operating on a thin edge. Hopefully, the meeting has settled everything, and I truly promise to work my best so such a situation will not arise once more.

That being the case, I am putting in a recommendation for both myself and Captain Tarin, when and if things are not so critical to attend counseling sessions. Thankfully, we have gotten a counselor who served previously, and I consider it to be an excellent one.
