View Award - Unsung Hero Medal
For recognition of support actions in character.
While heroism is often recognized, the silent and ever ready support crew can be overlooked. They are the ones who are always there to back us up, and their support makes the real difference when the heat is on. This award can only be applied to IC (in character) actions.
Category: In character
Awarded: 10 times
Commander Marisa Wyatt 22 Jun 2017 @ 5:16pm |
I would like to nominate Charlie and the Sandoval character for the unsung hero award. Sandoval was one of those characters, in this mission, who went above and beyond. She was always there to help her crewmates out and protect them and she supported the medical department throughout this entire storyline. She was always there, always had something to add and did it in such a humble manner. Nice writing Charlie! --Kat |
Lieutenant Aria Rice 06 Nov 2014 @ 2:18am |
Aria contributed in many ways during the Cardassian mission, but importantly she dealt with some very difficult and tense scenarios with calm and yet never lost her character in it. It was also good to see the little firecracker running and fighting again down in the mines.... |
Lieutenant Min Zhao 08 Jul 2014 @ 5:34pm |
For creating additional (and believable) levels of tension at the diplomatic dinner from the margins - adding interest without making herself the center of attention. |
Lieutenant Asahi Kita 09 Mar 2014 @ 9:34am |
For taking the lead on the Engineering JPs, and helping to organize the installation of our new bar. |
Petty Officer 3rd Class Vermeer Talbot 13 Dec 2013 @ 11:50am |
For the amazing introduction of Talbot. Choosing to bravely introduce a character in the way he was brought onboard Galileo, as a borg drone in need of deassimilation, and then pursuing an understated yet realistic and human approach to his reactions and recovery to the trauma have been written with skill and talent. |
Lieutenant JG Delainey Carlisle 06 Oct 2013 @ 11:57am |
For the counselling work Delainey has done to support other crew members and NPCs, particularly during the Borg attack. |
Lieutenant Kiri Cho 05 Sep 2013 @ 10:22am |
For the scientific support so often given by Cho to the story and plots aboard Galileo. Cho contributes in a way that brings the science alive and to the forefront of the Galileo, helping to get get the job done in a quiet and calm way. |
Lieutenant Lilou Zaren 22 Aug 2012 @ 10:57am |
Awarded for risking her life in the middle of battle to successfully save the injured chief from certain death. |
Command Master Chief Markum Quinn 22 Aug 2012 @ 10:51am |
Awarded for risking his life and losing a limb while successfully crawling through the nacelle to repair our warp drive. Heroic indeed! |
Commander Scarlet Blake 06 Aug 2012 @ 11:52am |
For going into Engineering and taking care of the wounded despite currently being a counsellor, I feel that Ensign Scarlet Blake deserves it as an unsung hero of a messy business! |
