Not wanting to kick Nesh out of their shared quarters immediately Mimi had given her a few days and some help seeing as that was her own department to arrange new quarters with a new roomie to allow John to move in with her; today was that day. She scurried around the room moving things, before Nesh had become her roomie he spent a lot of his off duty time here anyway but him being there all the time now was going to be completely different.

John pressed the chime while shifting the sea bag that had what little belongings he had. The bunks didn't allow for much personnel effects to be kept.

"Come in John." Mimi called out knowing from scent it was him on the other side of the door. She made a mental note to set the door to recognise him and unlock when he approached.

John entered and looked around. "Whoa! Nesh is going to slit my throat for kicking her out."

"I am sure she would not." Mimi smiled and quickly bounded up to her husband and reached up to kiss him.

John returned the kiss and picked Mimi up. "She's Orion. It's in the blood." He set her down. "So where do I bunk? Oh! That's right. I'm still haven't got used to the fact."

"You know where you bunk." Mimi grinned at John, he'd spent enough time with her in her quarters before they were married. "The question is do we get the beds rearranged to one big one for the both of us?"

"One big one. I suppose since it is official that we're married we could request from ops a bigger one. Hmm....who do I put that request into? I wonder?"

"Leave it with me." Mimi said and smiled again. "Can probably have it installed in a day or two.

"Sounds good." John grabbed her and hugged her. "Remember way back when we had to hot bunk? That's where we met as I remember."

"It was. Hot bunking was not fun but the rest of the trip was, I did not think that introduction would eventually lead to us getting married." Mimi chuckled slightly. "But here we are, married in federation and Nekomi law."

"Yeah, but I'm glad we did. Tell you the truth, I think the one thing now that I can do is give you breakfast in bed from now on." He reached for her and pulled her close. "You're my precious gem to take care of."

"I can think of more than just breakfast we can do in bed." Mimi purred gentle as he held her. "But breakfast in bed sounds good too."

"If I do anything more right now, I'll get written up for being late to duty. All eyes on us sort of thing you know." John winked.

"Promise me we will do something together when we get off duty." Mimi asked hopefully. Being the same shift they'd be finishing around the same time.

"We certainly will. Now, scoot that cute tush of yours off. I've got some conduits to look at." John paused. "Say, just for shits and grins, want to take bets on when we have our first fire fight?"

"With our reputation I would not be surprised if the moment we drop out of warp at our destination someone takes a shot at us." Mimi replied.

"Fair enough. I'll say sometime after orbit. If I win you wear something very sexy." John leered a moment.

"You do not need to win a bet to get me into something very sexy John." Mimi said with a small purr.

"Yeah, but it's so much more fun. Now, sexy thing, I better not be late, or I'll be standing in the XO's office explaining."

"Alright I will see you after work." Mimi reached up and have him another quick kiss then watched him leave before quickly finishing getting ready for her own shift.


=== one very long boring shift later ===

With work over and done with Mimi had headed straight back to her quarters to change out of her uniform and grab a quick sonic shower, she'd just stepped out when she heard the door open and she quickly grabbed a towel to cover herself with.

John had been late. He still wasn't used to coming this direction. As he entered he heard the shower. "Heya, sweets."

"Hey," Mimi called back to him. "Just finished with the sonic if you need it." Picking up a brush she began to run it through the furr of her tail.

"Hey stop that!" John came over and grabbed the brush. "That's my job now." He turned her around so that he could more easily work. "So tell me about your day." He started to gently tease the little tangles out.

Somewhat uncertainly Mimi offered John the brush, he'd ran his hands through her fur many times but never brushed it. Her tail twitched as he worked the brush through it. "Very boring, routine stuff."

John slowly worked to make sure there were no tangles and what he did get, he worked at gently. "Same here, but when there wasn't something requiring immediate attention, then there was thinking about getting back to you." He chuckled a moment. "Our bet still on?"

"Sure." Mimi said with a smile. "And so is your promise of us doing something after work."

"Isn't this something?' John was gentle but he leaned over and nibbled at an ear. "Or did you have something else in mind?"

Mimi's ear instinctively shied away from John's mouth coming near it. "I thought maybe the holodeck? though I am open to other options."

"Okay, holodeck it is. What grand adventure or decadent setting would you like?"

"If the holodeck is free," Mimi remarked, with only two of them it wasn't always easy to get the holodeck without booking in advance, "maybe relax on a beach?"

"Thought kitties didn't like water?" John replied.

"Did not say anything about getting into the water." Mimi chuckled slightly. "Maybe with a life jacket on."

"Ah, you would be cute all dripping." John got up and then, with a swift move, pulled the towel away. "Shoot, you look good period."

Forced to spin a little as she was unwrapped Mimi let out a slight squeal, even now they were married she had to fight the instinct to cover herself up. "Heyyyyyy... I only just finished showering."

"Guess you'll be taking another. Now come here, kitty kat of mine." John pulled her close and kissed her.

Mimi pressed herself against John, tilting her head back as her taller husband kissed her, she purred gently as he held her.

John enjoyed the kiss and then he picked her up and headed toward the bed. "Let's see if I can make you purr."

Partly laughing partly squealing Mimi wrapped her legs around John's waist as he carried her off to the bed. "You always can." She told him.

John gently laid Mimi on the bed and kissed her while stroking her breasts. He was going to make this slow. One hand slipped down to her right thigh and he started stroking along its length. As he broke the kiss, he said, "Purr for me."

Purr Mimi did, the noise low and subtle as it competed with a contented groan. Her freshly cleaned skin goose bumping slightly where his fingers touched it. "So gentle for an engineer." She told him.

John didn't reply but pushed her legs apart and lowered himself. He gently entered her, but only a little way, teasing with short little thrusts before going deeper until he buried himself into her.

Mimi gasped as John pushed his way inside her. "You are overrrr dressed for this." She said and made a grab for his uniform jacket.

John chuckled. "You think so? Sorry, I've already got scars on the legs. Now let's see if I can go from purr to scream." He picked up the pace of his thrusts and went deeper.

"I am getting better at........ keeping my claws in." Mimi told him, her words interrupted by a moan of delight and a strong tingle that wound its way all the way up her body.

John didn't care now about claws or not. He wanted to bring his new bride to the pinnacle of ecstasy. He slowed, then changed the pace, kissed and tried to stimulate her however he could.

Within barely more than a minute Mimi's body was on fire with pleasure. "Do not stop..." She told him through deep panting breaths as she tried to regulate the heat coursing through her body.

John kept up the pace but he knew he was at his breaking edge. Finally with a grunt he couldn't hold back anymore and released himself into her.

Mimi hugged her husband tight as he filled her, wrapping both her arms and legs around him and purring relentlessly. "This was not what I was thinking of doing after work," she eventually said. "But it was more fun."

John relaxed with her. "Give me a few moments and I promise way more fun."

Though she kept her legs around his waist Mimi let go of John and pushed him up slightly. She grabbed his uniform top this time intent on getting it off him.

"Oh give me a minute!" He laughed as he worked his top off.

"I am naked, it is only fair if you are." Mimi told him.

"Who said anything about fair?" John stroked one ear gently knowing how sensitive the area was and that it could be a highly erotic feeling.

The stroking of her ear kept Mimi's purring strong. "Only fair we both get our share of the fun." She made a grab for his shirt.

"Oh, game on!" He pushed at her. John figured that he'd be getting new uniform anyway. A little wrestle would be fun.

Mimi play growled at John as she struggled in his grip. More than a foot taller and nearly twice her weight she was never going to win a real fight but she knew he'd never force her into anything. Uncoiling her legs from his waist she slipped one between them and tried to roll both of them sideways.

"Oh it's wrestling time is it?" John chuckled. He went along with her for the moment. It was way more fun this way.

"You may be strong but I am more flexible." Mimi said with a purr on the 'flex', swinging her body around she managed to push John onto his back and quickly slipped her lithe body on top of him pressing herself into his chest and just as quickly capturing his lips with hers.

John caught her. He broke the kiss for just a moment. "And you give yourself away." He then used some of his strength to switch positions with him on top once more.

"Heyyyy." Mimi protested finding herself underneath John once more, she had to lift her hips against him and wiggle a little to free her tail.

John pinned her arms to the side and shifted a little so she was more comfortable. "Now, darlin', let's see if I can make you scream my name." He slowly entered and then withdrew a little, penetrating a little more each time.
