Mission Summary

Enus V is a large Class-O world recently discovered by a passing Sovereign-class vessel en-route to the galactic west's Tholian border. Oceanic worlds are rare finds containing an abundance of biological life, and over the course of the past 11 months, local Starfleet assets have established a subaquatic research and observation post known as Enus Station. Staffed by a mixed complement of civilian and Starfleet marine biology SMEs, the facility has thus far performed groundbreaking work to chart its local environment and catalogue a plethora of new life forms.

Recent biological studies within Enus V's ecosystem have revealed a potential breakthrough in known life sciences. An urgent request for a dedicated planetary science platform to perform further investigation is transmitted to Regula I, and USS Galileo-A is dispatched with haste to assist. But the Nova-class' arrival might not come soon enough. Attempts to contact Enus Station are unsuccessful and Galileo is forced to analyze the foreign world and locate the station's research teams.

Galileo encounters a challenging operating environment within the deep sea and draws the attention of many native lifeforms. The ship and crew struggle to navigate potential first contact scenarios while deploying assets to execute her mission objectives.
