Mission: Episode 06 - Legend of Souls
Location: USS Galileo - Deck 3, Security Office/Brig
Timeline: MD 06 - 1541 hours

[ON]

Once the doorway to the security office had slid wide open, an antigrav cart came inside from the passageway. A pillar of Tribbles was piled high on the cart, and they were contained within a shimmering blue forcefield. The colony of Tribbles was piled so high, the man pushing the cart couldn't be seen.

Louis was sitting at his desk filling out a report about his last patrol through the ship. Louis looked up with a chuckle. "Atton!" He said with slight interest at why a cart of tribbles was being pushed through.

At the declaration, the cart came to a sudden halt. Were it not for the forcefield, inertia would have surely sent the Tribbles hurling all over the brig. Since the forcefield was in place, the Tribbles simply rolled and tumbled within their cage. The head of a bearded man peeked out from behind the wall of Tribbles. "I'm sorry. Huh? What did you say?" asked the bearded man.

"I was trying to get your attention, What are you doing with that cart? You are aware tribbles are illegal to posses?" Louis walked around the cart to where the officer was.

As Louis rounded towards him, Andreus Kohl shrugged broadly and expressed indignation through his eyes, and through his body language. And through his words. "You are aware our ship is infested with Tribbles, yeah? What are you? New or something?"

Louis sighed, " Aye, four days ago I beamed aboard, they finally put me back together this morning. The big thing here is the disposal of these tribbles, Which as much as they are vermin, I see an officer walking with a cart full of animals, I want to make sure that they are going to be disposed of in a humane manner, Animal cruelty and ethical disposal laws. I am sure you can understand?"

"Yes... Yes, I can almost understand," Kohl said, but and edge of confusion remained in his tone. "Except I work in the sciences. I don't... dispose of anything. I was bringing them in here so you could... dispose of them. ...Or put them in a cell to keep them away from the EPS conduits and the replicators and the life support systems."

"I am unsure of it being security's responsibility for final disposition of these..things.. Lieutenant, Before I accept this evidence? Infestation? I am going to need to get a writ from the Science and or medical personel reguarding how to humanely dispose of them. I thought you science folks had chemicals to do stuff like that?" Louis really did not want the tribbles around him. He was barely comfortable with a cat let alone a tribble!

Kohl's eyes went wide, and his only remark at first was an uncomfortable, "...oh." He shook his head and he went on, "I didn't think we were actually destroying any of them. ...I've just been telling people that as a joke."

When Louis didn't immediately laugh at Kohl's remark, Kohl simply shook his head and said, "Never mind. I'll, uhm," --he jerked a thumb over his shoulder and the door to the passageway-- "I'll check the arboretum to see if they can take more of the 'infestation' at the tribble sanctuary." And the pillar of tribbles slowly hovered out the doorway, and around the corner.
