Alex let out a sigh as he dropped his bags in his temporary quarters. He was finally back on the Galileo and was somewhat excited for it. He had been called away pretty suddenly when the Galileo had made it back to Earth. The Trill Joining commission had been pretty cryptic as well, and it had annoyed him to worlds end because all it had been was a simple 'How's it going?' council. He hated those, they never came to him, always made him go to them. Thanks to that, he had missed the entire installation of the bar, even the launching of the ship. He had had to jump on a transport to Deep Space Nine where he was going to meet them until they had altered course. He had just been lucky enough that when they had changed course, it was crossing the path of his transport.

Making his way to the turbolift, Alex hit the button for deck seven. He knew the route pretty well, the ship was small, and he had known where the bar was going to go in. It didn't take him long to get to the Callisto. Punching in the code to open the doors, Alex was greeted with the sound of glasses clinking as they swished open. "Ello?" He called out as he entered the Bar.

Sigrid let out a blood curdling scream as she dropped the towel she'd been using to polish the glasses she was handling. The doors had been locked, and she wasn't expecting anyone for at least another few hours. It technically wasn't even her shift yet, being assigned more Beta shift hours to accommodate the bar hours. When she saw the handsome man that had interrupted her she visibly eased, and flashed him a smile. "Golden Furies! You scared the guts out of me!" She exclaimed loudly.

Alex chuckled, "Three former hosts, and I dont think I have ever head that used as a swear before." He said as he approached the bar, "Sorry for scaring you, was not my intention. Hell I didnt think anyone would actually be in here." He commented as he leaned up against the bar.

Sigird was never one to stay unphased for very long, and she had quickly recovered from the surprise of the situation. She picked up the towel and playfully tossed it at the Trill in front of her. "Just don't make that a habit!" She came out from behind the counter and approached the man with her hand extended. "I'm Sigrid Thelin. People call my Siri. Are you Alexander Iella?"

"I would be." Alex said taking her hand and shaking it. "Sorry I couldnt have been here when the Bar finished. The Symbiont Committee decided it was a good time to have a review, see how I was coping, yada yada, blah blah blah." He took the rag and handed it back to her before moving over to a table and pulling a chair out for her, "Shall we sit and have a chat then?"

"Haark spit! There's work to be done. Can you clean and talk?" She flashed him a big grin and went back behind the bar. "Symbiont Committee? That sounds like you had a blast." She said in a mock monotone voice, before giggling. "Though I've never really thought of Trills being especially lively in their meetings. So, like, are you really old then?" She asked, flashing him big wide eyes.

Alex laughed as he grabbed a clean rag from the end of the counter and started making his way from table to table to give them a once over. "Oh, it was definitely fun. Wanting me to do this, wanting me to do that, those sorts of thing." He tucked various chairs back in under their tables as he moved, "Personally? I'm only Thirty. Iella though, it's.... a hundred and forty years old. Fairly young actually in comparison to some of the other symbionts out there."

After resoaking her cloth, she came back out from behind the bar and started helping him wipe tables. She washed them much slower than he did, to savour watching him bend of the tables. She mentally chastised herself for it, as most men that hunky were always taken or not into human females. Non-humans seemed to catch her eye more than others, so having a 140 year old slug in him didn't help. She visibly shook her head to clear her mind. "So, do you want to talk operations, or menu? Do you have something that you run off of?" Unlike her usual bubbly self, when it came to bartending, she was all business.

"Menu wont be changing from the one we have already, but specials will pretty much be whatever I want to cook that day. So lets talk Operations." Alex said as he moved to one of the booths. "What's your past experience?"
