Personal Log: Dea Mialin

Where do I begin? I know I've said that before but this mission really crosses the line of strange. After we managed to reunite with Holliday's away team we had to run for our lives. The battle ended up leaving many injured. However that was only the tip of one very large ice berg.

At some point during the battle we fell a pretty good distance into a cave. Turns out that cave is home to the red energy being things we'd encountered.

*Sigh*

From there it just got terrifying and well thats the best way I can describe it at this point. Currently it still sits too close to home. They wanted to attempt to communicate. Why they chose me or why I didn't attempt to run I honestly can't say.
In short the result of that experience has left me with a lot of healing.

Medical has told me it will take time. I'm not good at waiting. There is a part of me that simple just wants to forget about my experience in that cave but I can't. For now that's all I'm ready put into words. At this point a lot of it is still a big jumble for me.
