Personal Log: Lieutenant Commander Dea Mialin

Shoreleave is officially over and we've been recalled back to Galileo. I've been back at Starfleet Command for the last week or so now. Transitioning into the role of Second Officer has been interesting to say the least. It hasn't exactly been my most relaxing leave.

Between ensuring all my training and qualifications are up to date along with dealing with various crew matters I didn't get a lot of time to myself. Though I did manage to work in a brief trip to Betazed.

Since my return I've started getting to know the various Department Heads and their Assistants better. That has been a very...umm...interesting experience so far. Really I don't know how to state it any other way.
