Personal Log: Lt Dea Mialin

This message is one I hope never sees the light of day. If anyone ends up reading this its because I did not return from the away mission. I've been tasked to lead a team to retrieve Commander Holliday, yet he's not Holliday he's Legatus of Borg. However that is not the point of this message.

Its to say I wanted to thank you for believing in me. With my mix of emotions right now its hard to put anything into words. There's so much to say yet I know whatever I say isn't going to be enough.

Captain if you're reading this serving aboard Galileo has been the highlight of my career. My biggest regret is it had to end this way. The fact your reading this means my I didn't make it home with the rest of the away team. I can only hope our mission didn't fail totally.

You had faith in me even when I questioned my own abilities. As a Commanding Officer you challenged us to be our best. There is so much I can't put into words, yet I felt a need to say something. So I'll leave it at that.
