A lot has happened so I haven't really got time to say that much. I've been promoted again, and I'm Chief Science Officer. This time its not just as acting department head either, this time it is going to stick, at least for a while. Now I can't make any mistakes at all, no one else is going to clean up my mistakes or tell me what to do. I think, I'm not sure I'm ready.

I can't let that on though, I have to do my best and I've arranged a department meeting for this afternoon. There are lots of new crew I haven't have a chance to work with yet and there is lots and lots of paperwork.

I'll try and get more written down soon.
