I am now officially an ensign, thanks to the recent promotion of my most-esteemed captain. I have not been to the graduation ceremony at the Academy just yet, but we shall be back in time for it. I hope.

Lt. Pendleton has not only given me flowers, he has also decided he want to song a song for me as well. I suppose this is normal in his culture, though I am very much out of my element. I am not sure if I should pursue anything with him or if I should distance myself. I would say I wish Del'an was here to guide me, but I know what she would say. She would not approve of my interaction with Jacob.
