Personal log Ensign Amanda Turell

Well we’re back from my first ever away team mission with this crew and…. It was definitely an interesting one. Started off as just simple search and rescue turned into quite the freak show hell hole. Hands coming out of walls trying to grab you, the station's power core exploding but nothing actually happening. They’ve classified the entire thing so I guess I shouldn’t say too much. Managed to bust up my shoulder pretty good again, landed pretty awkwardly on it and never got the chance to put it back for a good while, ran on painkillers and adrenaline for far too long. Got my arm in a support sling for a couple days, still working though, can’t leave everything to our only other security person right now Gabriel.

Looks like the ship had an interesting time while we were gone, attacked by Ferengi and saved by the Klingons of all people. Wouldn’t have expected Ferengi to attack a starfleet ship and definitely not to be saved by Klingons. From what I heard the crew handled themselves quite well when we got boarded, even Ensign Mimi got stuck into the Ferengi….. And the Klingons it seems. She’s in the brig after assaulting and potentially murdering the Klingon Captain. Gabriel is looking into it with the Cmo, if she did it I certainly can understand her reasons for doing it, I'd want to kill the guy who murdered a whole colony of my friends and family.

All in all, it’s been a hell of a first two weeks onboard a new ship for us, hope the rest of my time of the ship is....calmer.

End log.
