Personal Log

Tris had very much enjoyed the comraudery that had taken place on the Holodeck recently in the ancient Earthan aircraft. The whole concept of fighter craft, be they for atmospheric or in the vacuume of space, has been recently perplexing for me. I realize that there is a need for or at least niche for these small agile and weaponized craft, but I personaly find that I do not wish to be in that type of service. I wish to serve the Federation, but just not that way. I’m not saying that it is wrong or not necessary. I just do not believe that it is for me. As one might say, ‘my heart is not in it.’

So, the task of piloting will continue for me for the foreseeable future. The craft might be as small as a shuttle pod or as large as an Odyssey Class Starship, and I will be there controlling it and trying to keep the crew safe in my own small way.

Yes, I can operate the controls and fire weapons when needed if called upon. Who knows what the future holds.
