Personal Log: Lieutenant (JG) Dea Mialin

Recent events have been a real trial for the crew. We lost good people. Some of our crew including the Commanding Officer were taken, yet by some miracle we managed to get them back. It's hard to consider us successful when we still have to find a way out of the nebula and home.

Sure there's an ambitious plan but its risky. However we can't stay here forever. No matter what this is going to test my skills as a pilot. When I took the oath to become a Starfleet Office I accepted the risk that went with the job. I don't want to believe everything we've worked for is for nothing. That would dishonor those we lost.

Now is not the time to try and make sense of all that's happened. Currently I can safely say that's a good thing. My full concentration and focus is required for what lies ahead. There's a lot more I need to get off my chest but not here and not now. I'll leave it for later when I'm alone..."
