Previously, on The Fallen (Part 2)...

Pain was the only thing she felt like she had any artistry in. It was the tool she was most comfortable with by far, but she understood that they were talking about Sofie's best friend. "I'll try." She whispered. She pulled Sofie close into a tight embrace, as much to reassure herself as to comfort Sofie. Then she reached out with her thoughts into all the corners of all the rooms of this place and found all the rooms full of all levers and dials and all the things she needed to become Sofie.

And Now, the Conclusion...

[ON] [Content Advisory: Sexual Assault]

Sofie's shirt had just come off, leaving her in only her underwear and Lamar's embrace. As the other Sofie took control of the body she instantly felt the oppressive weight of the numbness Sofie had been battling, it was no wonder she hadn't been able to keep control. Its inertia still pulled at her: one hand was starting to grab at Lamar's own clothes, demanding reciprocation of the undressing. But the other Sofie, the nightmare creature of fire, was quickly gaining purchase.

She pushed him back, just a little. Sofie's body was weak after weeks of sickness so the push was more of a suggestion than anything else, but she could gain a little space. She needed words to begin this, at the moment it seemed her best hope was to call him back to his senses "Lamar, what are we doing?"

The sight of Sofie's almost-nude form generated a surge of energy which clouded his eyes and prerogative. He momentarily withdrew his lips from her skin with a wet slop then pulled his t-shirt off and removed his shorts and undergarments through swift and consecutive tugs. His throbbing member presented itself in plain sight less than a foot from her loins. "I...don't know..." was his pained whisper.

Lamar then looked down upon her semi-exposed figure - her bare torso and the mounds on her chest were different in shape than Sera's. More Human; more natural in their larger appearance and conforming physical shape. She looked...beautiful. His eyes traveled down to her exposed legs - thighs and calves - which possessed an acceptable toned thickness he hadn't seen in several years. From head to toe he observed her while swallowing a wet lump in his throat. "I..." his voice trailed off as his head descended into her chest, capturing one of her nipples in his mouth then tugging on the flesh with suction and a lap of his warm tongue against her stubby organ. Both of his hands re-positioned to cup and squeeze his friend's secondary sex organs...to show his affection toward her. Her demure objection press against his chest and query was too soft and went unrecognized.

Moving in a physical body took so much more effort than she had realised, or maybe it was just a symptom of how weak Sofie's body had become, how bad the last month had truly been. She tried again in vain to get some leverage to push Lamar off her but if felt like she could barely move Sofie's arms. It didn't help that sensations were rippling through her, things that the other Sofie had never experienced before, and some of them were quite potent. She closed her eyes, scrunching them shut and tried to block out enough of the overwhelming barrage coming from her senses to think for a moment.

She opened her eyes again. Don't hurt him, try to use reason, think like Sofie would. Between short breaths she was able to get out a second attempt "We talked about it. This isn't what we wanted, remember?" It was a half hearted attempt though. It was obvious to her from the way he was touching Sofie, from the passion of it and the affection in every little caress and motion: this was exactly what he wanted.

His head raised from her chest leaving a slippery trail of saliva in his mouth's wake across her bosom. "I...Sofie?" He blinked then paused, his attentions pausing while he glanced around his quarters then back to the intimate position they were mutually occupying. "What are we doin..."

'Enough of her games,' the dark voice spoke to him in his head. Lamar's soft dark brown irises suddenly turned black and his posture stiffened. One of his hands reach down toward her waist the grabbed the front of her underwear before forcefully ripping it free from her body with an audible tear. There. Her loins were now unbridled by fleshly concerns. They were his. 'Ours.'

His hands moved to the soft musculature of her pale-skinned inner thighs and pressed them wide to each side. He walked his way forward with shuffle steps until his throbbing member slowly twitched in an attempt to find its dimensional home. "Sofie...don't fight me...us," he said in a dry croaking voice which wasn't his own. The Flayed Man had assumed control.

"Little brother..." The Other Flayed Man grinned from Sofie's face. She didn't hide it anymore and projected her vastness onto the psychic landscape. A vast vortex of fire filled the unreality, a swirling tempest of flames, all of it centered on Sofie. She might be weak in the physical world but she was not just a physical creature. She was the August Lady of an Unending Gyre, the Voice of the Fire, and on this immaterial plane she could surely best anything her undeveloped sibling could muster. This fratricide would be amusing. "Let go of him or I will make you let go of him."

Lamar's black eyes widened when he saw the production of flame manifesting in his quarters. Fire not derived from he, Sofie or his occupant...but another entity. An equally dark one who threatened to destroy all he possessed and possibly the starship itself. He hesitated, his erect member mere inches from her private cavity. From its home. "...How...why have you followed me?! This new place is MINE," yelled Lamar to the creature inside of Ullswater. He grit his teeth then scowled, and grasped his member in one hand before guiding it toward her tight crevice. His head split the outer folds of her private region then pressed against her inner opening.

He was crude, a simple monster of nightmares. He lacked her grand vision and sense of purpose. He lacked what Sofie had given her. He lacked what had come to her from the future. He lacked her fearsome presence, her awesome power. He was nothing compared to her. Yet he was the one who pushed on and in the physical world of muscle and body she was less than nothing. She lacked the strength to resist violation. She cried out in rage.

She had tried to do this without hurting Sofie's friend but her options had dried up. With the smallest twitch of her head the August Lady brought down lances of fire upon Lamar. Fire enough that he should be put in immeasurable pain. Enough, she hoped, that he would pause in his mission in the physical realm long enough that she could engage her brother in psychic battle. "She is mine little brother," She spoke with the voice of angels, booming and commanding and reverberating throughout the dreamscape. "Leave now!" She punctuated her words by lashing out once again with tendrils fire that grabbed and held and burned.

Searing pain consumed his body and forced him to recoil. "...Ahh..." sounded Lamar's voice, and not the one of his host. He staggered backward while retreating from Sofie's position on the couch and furiously rubbed his head, neck and upper torso in an attempt to remove the painful fire. What was happening?! "..Sofie!" he called out for help to his friend.

No help came. Now clothed in fire, Sofie stood up and gave him a wordless glare that clearly communicated stay away. The glare was punctuated by a momentary surge in the intensity of the flames, a new wave of pain and dire warning of what could follow if he approached again.

The August Lady glanced around the room, Lamar and her brother might have retreated for now but she needed to get Sofie to safety as soon as possible. Back to Sofie's quarters? That seemed like the best idea. They would need clothes, walking around the ship without them wouldn't be acceptable. Some of the items were ripped but she could hopefully pull enough together to keep Sofie's modesty intact.

She set her eyes first on a shirt but taking one step in it's direction she stumbled to the floor, bashing her arm on the table on the way down. She had never had to walk in a human body before, her coordination was abysmal. Her eyes darted over to where Lamar was and she gave a snarl, warning him not to take advantage of her temporary fall.

The she was, fallen on her hands and knees; the position of weakness which begged for domination of both the cerebral and physical form. Lamar's eyes blackened until they became deep purple while drips of the extra-dimensional entity released from his tear ducts. 'Take her, now!' His steps across the room were swift and he rounded the table to position himself behind her rear end. His inhabitant's own wall of flame manifested across his body in a protective shield against whatever sibling rivalry was now in play. One of his large hands forcefully gripped the back of Sofie's hair bun then pulled her head up into the air while he dropped to his knees behind her and wrapped a controlling arm around her waist. "...Sofie, I'm sorry...I can't...control..." he managed to whisper in a pained voice.

Again trapped in a physical grasp the other Sofie gave a wordless shout of annoyance. Little brother had pulled up his defences so she needed to be able to concentrate, probe for weaknesses and make make precise and powerful strikes. The pain in Sofie's body and the alarm of the situation made concentration difficult though. Physical struggle might just lead to more damage to Sofie so she relied on her mental powers. To buy herself a little space the August Lady first projected heat on to Sofie's skin where Lamar was touching her, to make it so that holding on would be like handling hot iron. With defences in place it couldn't be enough to fully break free but the momentary release, the instinctual human reaction to a hot surface, gave her enough time to muster her next attack.

Her probing of the barrier her brother had erected confirmed that it was strong but not insurmountable. She was sure she could could puncture it at least once but she needed a good target as one shot might be all she got. She didn't need to search too far for a weakness. Sofie's memories already held that answer, remembered from the events at the cold station. The other Sofie licked her lips in anticipation.

The sound of metal scraping on metal, high pitched and jarring, rang out through the nightmare just as it had on the station. A reminder of home for the two siblings and a memory of terror and pain for her brother's host. As soon as Aguni's rusty blade materialised the August Lady thrust it into Lamar's side. With the weight of all her mental strength behind it the blade passed through her brother's miserable barrier with ease and penetrated deep into the flesh. "Just as once in life, now again in nightmare." With a gleeful look on Sofie's face she pulled out the blade only to follow it with a second cruel thrust.

The pain of fire was overwhelming but mere coal-sizzling heat? It burned as he'd been burned during his tours of duty during the war. The creature inside of him channeled his natural resistance - made it stronger, and while his grip released from her hair with a painful shake of his hand, his opposite arm around her hips tolerated the heat and even seemed to feed from it. An assertive pull of her waistline pressed her exposed bottom against his crotch while he looked down and started to manipulate himself into her, fumbling about with an uncanny lack of precision he often shared with Sera.

Then there was a sharp and all-too familiar sensation through the side of his ribs. The distinctive cold and metallic feeling of a blade impaling itself into him registered, for this wasn't the first time Lamar had ever been stabbed. He recognized the momentary shock of the sensation before the jolts of pain registered. Gritting his teeth, he let out a muffled cry and then a second one before releasing his grip on Sofie. He looked down while wondering how this could have happened - the science officer was still on her knees faced away from him, as were her arms. No crimson rivers descended from his side nor could he see a knife in his body. But it was there. Somehow...inside of him. It was from the Other Side.

"You fool!" the Flayed Man yelled to her from within his form.

The August Lady laughed at her pathetic sibling. She laughed at the pain she was causing. She laughed as she unsteadily pulled herself to her feet and awkwardly maneuvered a shirt onto Sofie's torso. She laughed once again looking at the heap of pained flesh before her that had once been a man. Metal twisted in Lamar, the rusty blade deepened and opened up new pathways for her fire to invade. It burned deep into his flesh and into his marrow, coursing through his arteries and contorting his organs in a perfect aria of pain. She had wrought something beautiful here. It was her finest nightmare.

Taking the time she had bought, the August Lady ceased her observation, time could not be wasted. She stumbled and tripped, her movements were still awkward, but she managed to grab Sofie's discarded trousers and pull them on. Torso and legs were covered and, as she understood it, that was decent enough to make her escape into the ship. She reached the door and as it opened she turned one last time to look on her work of art.

Sofie's face was deeply pained, her eyes were puffy and her cheeks were littered with the evidence of many tears, but the creature that wore her face gave it the expression of a dreadful angel: It oozed contempt and carried a dire warning. "Do not think you can best me, little brother. This one is mine. Do not touch her and I will leave you with your toys."

The intensity of the inferno Lamar experienced felt unbridled in its intensity. Beyond what he'd experienced even during his brief foray into the other dimension while within the cold station. This was pain...true pain, and he writhed on the ground with his eyes tightly shut while Ullswater escaped from his quarters. "...I...will...destroy you!" yelled the entity inside of him which managed to manipulate its host into a final rebuttal. "..This is not...over!" With barely enough air left in his lungs, he rolled on to his back and gasped for oxygen. The door to his living room hissed shut then finally he was alone and without occupation. For how long? That became his new nightmare.
