Mission: Episode 02 - Resupply
Location: Vega System, Vega IX
Timeline: MD 02 - 0530

After Galileo's unceremonious touchdown, Vega Colony's nearby emergency craft had rushed to the scene to provide assistance. The Nova Class's power systems were almost completely offline rendering communications useless, but an emergency call to Starfleet was quickly transmitted from nearby personnel. Due to the classified nature of Galileo's mission, it was critical for assistance to arrive promptly.

Back on Earth, Task Group 72-C was promptly recalled to assist in the rescue effort. Consisting of five other starships, it took less than a day for them to mobilize at Starbase 001, after which they departed for Vega Colony. At high warp, the trip took only a matter of hours.

Sequential flashes in space signified the task group's arrival, and each ship dropped out of warp on the system's perimeter. They assumed formation and made their way to Vega IX where they assumed a low orbit, and a myriad of shuttle and support craft were launched and swarmed down to the planet below to assist the tiny Nova Class.

Along with Starfleet Intelligence personnel responsible for protecting Project Sienna's interests, various personnel and equipment were sent to the surface...everything that Galileo would require to treat her crew casualties and begin the restoration of the ship's systems.

Engineers and medical personnel began to swarm the crash site and thankfully, Galileo was not in horrible condition. Aside from a couple broken landing struts and several hull breaches in the ventral hull, the craft was completely intact and all of her main systems were well within the realm of repair. The process would take almost a week, but Starfleet's newest Nova Class would soon return to the front line.
