Mission: Episode 12 - Recluse
Location: USS Galileo Life Pod/Neg Jok Sogh/Paulsen Nebula
Timeline: MD02: 0400

Allyndra was slowly dealing with the concussion and also with the fact that the responses from the pods seemed to have disappeared. The Klingons seemed to have been beaming people off and as she had noted they had not gotten her for whatever reason.

Some of the pods had linked, others drifted nearby and with no response. She sat in the silence and wondered about what had happened to everyone. The Admiral, the Executive Officer, Tuula, Eelim and most of the rest was unknown who and who had not made it off the ship. The ship what had remained of it was long gone. Now it was just these pods, the Klingons and a whole lot nothingness.

All these pods, all drifting like beads in a bathtub. Each a tiny little.....wait, her mind finally got going. Each was a tiny transmitter, but if she could get them to all transmit the same signal, same frequency would be a distributed tansmission system but close would also act like a radio telescope array. Each tiny signal would in the end act as though it had way more power.

Allyndra got up slowly and begin to contact and take over the other pods. She had not doubt that the Klingons would catch the signal and then it was more than likely all over with, with the pods. She would surrender herself just before she sent the signal.

It was tedious work and very slow as she wanted to black out at times. However she finally got things set and then sent a call out.

"Klingon task group, this is Commander Allyndra illm Warraquim of the Gallileo. I demand to see my crew!" She then added, "jIH Akkadian,". According the translator that would be "I am Akkadian." It might be enough to get someone's attention. Akkadia was an allied world, not a Federation world and lay near some very strategic locations.

Aboard the IKS Neg JoK the call caused a minor panic. That the crew had somehow overlooked a high ranking survivor would mean there would be hell to pay. The Sogh in charge prodded the crew, "Get that person beamed over immediately!" The transporter chief shook his head, "We are having trouble locating, not a creature we are familiar with. What is an Akkadian?"

"I think I have located the being," the transporter chief finally said.

"Energize!"

On the pod as soon as Allyndra had announced herself she sent the signal and each pod she had managed to link started transmitting a distress signal along with coordinates.

Aboard the Neg JoK Sogh la'Garrin was informed that the pods were transmitting and the crew had gotten a high ranking official. He knew the general would be pleased to have another prisoner and did not think about the pods. The signals would be all but swallowed up by the nebula interference. He called the general already down in the brig that a new prisoner would soon be on board.

"Sir, the Klingon at the comm console suddenly piped up after a few minutes time. The pods are all transmitting the same in coordination."

"And what of it?" Sogh la'Garrin," replied still pleased with the final prisoner they had gotten. He had to comb through the database to see what an Akkadian was and noted that it was a world that might be useful, a fact that he put in the report to the general.

"It might act like an array, you take a whole bunch of little transmitters and they act like a big transmitter."

It took only seconds for that to sink in. "Destroy those pods!" He gave the command.

Allyndra found herself standing on the pad of a Klingon ship facing three warriors with weapons drawn.

She put her hands up and said, "I shall not resist."

Two holstered their weapons and moved forward to grab her and as they moved her roughly the room spun yet again and she felt blackness creeping in.

Soon they had to drag her limp body down to the brig.
