Mission: Episode 10 - Symposium
Location: Akkadia
Timeline: MD44

ON:

Arylndra lead the way. There was no need for a carriage here. She headed over a few blocks to another set of clustered buildings. These were more colourful but still done in a tasteful way. She head for one whose sign said, "Weku'a'ali'

She smiled as she stood outside the ornately painted door that was done in abstract designs. "My favourite Iresemia House. It means peaceful peak." She turned to Tuula, "Expect to be quite a center of attention. These places do not get to see one such as you."

"Are you sure this is going to be okay?" asked Tuula. "I'm not the kind of person to visit brothels."

"That you will be pampered and if you wish have the most exquisite time?"

Arylndra opened the door and entered and then held it for Tuula. The inside was filled with light not only from the stained glass but various lights with coloured shades. Draperies of all sorts covered the walls in the softest fabrics. A normal male approached and made a deep bow. "Welcome honoured guests," he straightened but while he said nothing there was a little glance at Tuula.

"Arylndra, this is Tuula, honoured guest of Warraquim Mother named," Arylndra said in a bit of haughty tone. The man again made a deep bow. "Welcome to the peaceful peak. Should I make an arrangement or?" The question hung there.

Arylndra shook her head. "We wish to socialize first and decide on our own."

The man nodded and then lead the way across the open space to a door. "Enjoy our hospitality," Beyound the door several of the tall robust infertile males were gathered talking, drinking and playing various games. A sport over there was an open space which a few danced with some women and soft music filled the air as did various pleasent scents. They were uniformly dressed a sort of soft gown. There was a few other women there but as Arylndra entered with Tuula all the men stood and made bows.

Arylndra made just bob and then most turned back to what they had been doing. She leaned over to Tuula and whispered, "Here you decide what and whom you would like. There is dancing, singing if you wish, drinks, food, conversation, games of chance or," she smiled. "Companionship with one or many if you want it."

Tuula smiled. This was no seedy brothel, it was a place to relax, free of rules and inhibitions. "I suppose I could go for a drink," she said, feeling the warmth of the twins on her skin, "and take it from there..."

Arylyndra headed over and and made an order. While she was there she talked to a couple of big infertile males. They followed her back. "Fermented blood flower I am afraid is all the drink we have unless you wish something else. This is Ba'al and this one is Ma'al." The two tall men both bowed deeply. Arylndra did not sit but wrapped her arm around Ba'als. "While I have the time I going to take advantage of it!" She said laughing and then the two headed off.

Ma'al took a seat. "All in a rush that one," he said and then turned his attention to Tuula. "I must say I like the colour of your hair and if my eyes did not decieve me when I came over here there is a decoration on your skin."

Tuula blushed at the compliment. "More than one," she replied, pulling back her sleeves to reveal the tattoos on her arms. "This is my first time on Akkadia," she explained in a meek voice.

Ma'al traced a finger long the design. "Lovely, I like the way the internal patterns flow. First time, it is not unusual, few get to be here and even fewer are allowed away from the space port. I must say you are my first contact with someone from off planet. Customs differ so please, matron, I beg forgiveness if I do something which might not seem right."

Tuula offered Ma'al a reassuring smile. "Our species sees interacting with an learning from other cultures as our highest calling. It is the main reason why we have built such a large fleet." She paused for a moment, mulling over Ma'al's comment. "Internal patterns?" she asked, not sure what he meant.

Ma'al nodded. "Yes internal patterns can you not see them?" He looked perplexed for a moment and then shrugged. "There are very delicate patterns here, they ripple when you move your arm. May I?" He touched her arm.

"Of course," replied Tuula, extending her arm slightly and feeling his warm touch upon her skin.

As he picked it up and turned it admiring the way the patterns changed in the light he asked, "So may I ask matron's name and be allowed to use it?"

"My name?" asked Tuula, blushing. "It's Doc--" she stopped mid-word and paused for a moment. Here, she was away from all her responsibilities as a doctor and a Starfleet officer. "Tuula. My name is Tuula."

"Toooo'lllaaaaaaaa'ah," Ma'al put much more musical movement and a bit of trill on the l. "It is pleasing to the ears. As much as you are to the eyes. I suspect this is your first time in such a place. Remember you are in charge here, wish me stay, to go, conversation, game, or even something a bit more intimate it is your choice." There was no emphasis on the later, no pressure though Ma'al could not help a bit more sparkle to his eyes as he wondered what this lovely woman would be like in bed. Just because his status was lower then most here did not mean he did not have curiosity.

Tuula sighed longingly. Ma'al was not unattractive, but she was not used to how things worked in these Iresemia houses. "Yes, this is my first time..." She quickly corrected herself. "My first time in one of these places, not my first time in bed. Our culture... we don't have quite the same, shall we say, liberal attitudes towards sexual contact," she admitted, a little sheepishly.

Ma'al made a small nod. "It is simply your choice matron. In all things you are in charge here. Perhaps something else for refreshment? I could have a runner get something from the space port? Here let me show you a game that is popular here and perhaps if matron wishes she could tell me more about her decoration. Such things have been done for a bit but only lately have they spread into the Houses themselves."

As Ma'al spoke he got a box from one of the tables. He set it down and and explained. You select either the light or dark coloured pieces. You move like this," He made a motion across the squares on the box in a sort of long lazy S shape. Moving from one end, to the middle row of squares and then back on the other end. "Some are marked like this. Twins blessing, prayer answered, bloodflower failure, etc. Some are good fortune and some are bad. First who get all their pieces off the other end wins. You move according to the count of number of this die shows." He tapped an eight sided die.

"Okay," said Tuula, picking up the ornate octahedral ruby-like object and turning it over in front of her. On each face but two there were Akkadian numbers; the other two had symbols she wasn't sure exactly what they meant. Taking the die in her hand, she blew on it, smiled, and tossed it across the box. "Three..." she said, picking one of her light pieces, something that looked a little like an Akkadian minaret, and moving it forward. "Twins blessing," she said, "what does that mean?"

"It means lucky in love literally, but overall good fortune. You get to go again." Ma'al replied.

"Ah, here we go. Something that please your palette more than bloodflower juice perhaps." Another male had brought small bottles of various alcoholic beverages from the port along with several glasses.

Ma'al took the second turn and skillfully tossed the dice then moved a piece along the board. "So tell me Tuula, these lines that you have do they have a particular meaning or just purely artistic?"

"Lines?" she asked. "Oh, you mean my tattoos. Well..." Tuula pulled back the sleeves on her blouse, "this one is a symbol of medicine, because I'm a doctor, and these butterflies represent my family, and this one..." she said, pointing towards the dagger on the inside of her left forearm, "this one just looks cool."

Ma'al leaned forward and delicately traced the lines with a finger. "Interesting and the one here?" His finger had moved down to rest on her chest.

"Oh, my chestpiece?" asked Tuula, leaning forward slightly and tugging on her blouse to display it. "It's a musical instrument from my planet. It's called a harp. With musical notation being held aloft by two delicate hummingbirds..." she paused for a moment and smiled at Ma'al.

"They look a bit like one of ours in flight, though different. I think you would have beautiful wings, there is a delicacy to you. Are there others?"

Tuula smiled and placed a hand on Ma'al's chest. "I suppose there is one way you could find out..."

"Oh? And how by the Twins might that be?" He looked at her toying with a bit of her hair with one large hand.

"Well..." Tuula looked around, still not sure how this place worked, "I suppose there are private rooms in this place somewhere..."

"Of course," Ma'al said quietly and rose. He made a small bow and extended his hand to hers. He gently guided the chair toward a room using his body to screen as much as possible. Everything here was discreet as it could be.

The door opened into a room which was smallish and the only real piece of furniture was a large round bed. Ma'al closed the door and locked it and then went to Tuula and smiled. "May I kiss you?" He asked.

"Yes," whispered Tuula, "kiss me."

Ma'al kissed her gently while lifting her from her chair. As one of the infertile males he was big and built for strength. Her lips were warm and she tasted sweet with the touch of juice and liquor. He then slowly kissed down her neck and with the utmost gentleness bit her. Oh she tasted sweet he thought. That kiss lasted for a moment before he laid her on the bed and slowly disrobed. He then picked up her arm and turned the wrist and again so gently kissed her. "May I see the rest of your decorations?"

Tuula smiled at Ma'al. He was strong yet gentle, everything an ideal lover should be. Slowly, she began taking off her blouse. "This is a phoenix; a bird which rises from the ashes..." she started, tossing the blouse aside.

Ma'al bent over and traced the drawing first with a finger and then with his lips. "And there is more?" he said.

"That's for you to find," replied Tuula with a mischevious look on her face. "First things first..." she added, reaching into her messenger bag and pulling out her pair of handcuffs, "you wouldn't want me getting away, would you?" she asked, pulling them tightly.

Ma'al looked at the metal instrument with curiosity. He was unfamiliar with those but went along. "No, of course not but perhaps I can give a better enticement to stay," He took the things and figured out they were designed to go around the wrist. He took one of her delicate wrists and gently put one ring on and closed as he did so he took said wrist and then bit. While all had the ability to produce that pleasurable sensation with a bite, being bigger and experienced made those that worked at the Irsemia house experts.

Tuula winced slightly at the bite -- the sting was no more painful that a tattoo gun, but it wasn't what she was expecting. However, the pain was quickly replaced by an erotic sensation as she struggled against her handcuffs and let the venom flow through her body. She was overwhelmed with an erotic bliss of a sort she hadn't felt more than once or twice, when she was with Jynn.

Ma'al let the bite linger and then released and noted her reaction. "Ah so much better." He moved onto the bed and kissed her gently before beginning his other ministrations to her need.
