Mission: Episode 07 - Sojourn
Location: USS Galileo - Deck 03 - Sickbay
Timeline: MD 9 - 1430 hours

ON:

Jaana rushed in Sickbay. Looking around in panic. "Tuula, Tuula, where are you?" she said. When she saw her, she walked to her and said, without waiting for a greeting. "We have a big problem. Well, you are in problems the most, as always." she handed her sister her padd.

"A problem?" asked Tuula, rolling herself out of the CMO's office and taking the PADD. "We're on shore leave, and I have a wonderful fake husband. What sort of problem could I possibly--"

Tuula's face turned white at the words on the PADD. "No... this isn't happening," she managed to gasp. "No, not here, not now... this can't be happening."

"Apparently it is going to happen. I got this message just minutes ago, but it was sent weeks ago." Jaana said. "What will we do?"

"I... don't know," replied Tuula. She looked down and buried her face in her hands. "I don't know. How do you think they will react to the fake marriage?"

"Well, to start I will ditch the fake part. They will never go along with it."

"You want me to tell mom and dad that I got married and never told them!" exclaimed Tuula. She shook her head. "This isn't going to work; why did they have to choose now to visit?"

Jaana wasn't happy with her parents visiting either. They knew her too well, that made it even more difficult to hide things, then it already was with only Tuula. "You must agree with me that telling them your are pretending to be someone's wife will fail just as bad."

"I'm sure they'll understand. It will be just like..." Tuula trailed off. It would be hard to lie to their parents, but she didn't see any other way to make this work and keep Olsam's parents from finding out the truth. "Okay, so we say I'm married to Olsam, and... how long are they staying?" asked Tuula, hoping that it was just for a few days.

"They didn't say, but how long can it be." she said. "Dad will probably missing his books if he's away from them for too long."

"I guess..." replied Tuula. "He really is a lot like you, always with his nose in a book, never getting outside," she teased. Her little teasing was in some way a defense mechanism, mostly to get a moment to talk about something other than their predicament. "And so is mom. If we didn't look so much alike, I'd think I was adopted."

"So that's why you try to look so different from me?" she said with a joking tone. Although she had been wondering for more then a decade why she had changed to black, and kept dressing like that for all those years. High school was a long time ago.

"How long does your shift last? Will you be able to pick them up? I don't have any meetings today, I can pick them up alone if you want."

"I'm off at 1600, but I have to visit Olsam right after work," replied Tuula before planting her face in her hands again. "This is just too much."

"You're the one that said yes to the doc." she touched her sisters arm. "Don't worry, I'll pick them up."

"Thank you," replied Tuula. She grabbed her sister by the hand and held her affectionately. "Thank you so much."
