"Here...you will appreciate this. From my home, berry based..." Victarion said as he carried the bottle through his room. He had his own small quarters, as a perk because he was the Captain's Yeoman. He had switched to a tight shirt and trousers, showing off his body.

"I love anything fruit tasting," Siren admitted with a soft laugh. She took the glass he poured, waiting to tap it to his before trying it. "Oh, that's so sweet! It's beautiful."

He smiled as he sat down on the floor with her, his eyes shining as he sipped it. "Mm...I always did like sweet drinks..." he said as he watched her. "Now, spill the gossip!"

"What gossip is that?" Siren asked lightly, leaning to him on the low coffee table with a smile. "I've not been here long myself, you know. I don't even have a roommate yet."

He sighed at that, shaking his head. "Now that is disappointing..." he said as he sipped his drink. "I have just gotten a general feel. It's...not a peaceful ship despite its mission."

"I think you'll fit in," she said firmly, holding his eyes with clear honesty.

Victarion nodded, looking down as he considered it all. "I pray that I will not have to make the decisions a lot of people have to."

She reached out and squeezed his shoulder. "Don't worry about the bad stuff that hasn't even happened yet," she grinned.

He chuckled at that, his hand covering hers. "We will see what my gut says," he said playfully.

"Yeah, I envy your intuition," she shook her head with awe. "You really are a girl."

He laughed warmly as he looked down. "I can't boast for my people's masculinity."

"I meant more that you have amazing women's intuition," she teased softly.

He shrugged as he watched her. "Some of my people are psychic..." he said, as if it was common.

Siren tilted her head as she watched him with interest, taking a breath. "Only some?"

He nodded as he watched her, taking a breath. "It is rare. Some people are quite...psychic. Or are able to use touch empathy. Me? I have a bit in me...I can tell when things are going to turn bad, before it happens. Could be a few minutes, could be a week."

"You can't feel when things are going to be good?" she asked softly, watching with interest.

Victarion smiled as he watched her, nodding. "I can feel that too...but never question when it is a good feeling."

"Wow, I can't imagine what that would be like," she shook her head with a frown, trying to put herself in that position. "I guess you end up feeling frustrated."

He nodded, sipping his drink as he considered it. "It feels physical to me. A good feeling will warm me. A bad one can send me right into a collapse if it is horrendous enough."

"That's horrible," Siren sighed with regret at his situation, shaking her head with a frown just at the prospect. "You can cope though, right?" she held his eyes with concern.

"Yes," he said and smiled warmly, shaking his head. "I don't get it often and rarely that severe."

"I hope not," she said firmly, leaning to pour him another drink, shaking her head even as she watched him with honest eyes. "Feel free to come find me."

Victarion grinned as he watched her, his eyes shining. "I will...I'll seek out the red soft hair. Can I braid it later?"

Siren laughed warmly at that, her eyes shining with amusement. "You're not doing any good for this whole masculine vibe," she teased. "Course you can. You'll probably be able to do it better than me."

He smiled warmly as he nodded, sighing contently. "I'll do something very fashionable..."

Siren smiled at that, watching him with fondness as she shook her head. "I wish I could do something in return."

He smiled as he nudged her gently. "You help me understand women!"

"Oh honey, don't rely on me for understanding women..." she shook her head with a soft laugh. "I don't think I'm much like the rest of them."

Victarion smiled gently as he leant closer to her, his eyes shining. "I think you are a very sensual woman."

She watched with surprise before giving a small smile. "Is that so. Most people think I'm just plain old scratchy."

"Nah, I like you..." he said as he sipped the drink. "I'd like you better with some extra equipment, but that is just me."

She laughed warmly, looking down with a shake of a head. "Wow, you're great for the ego."

He poked her leg, his eyes warm. "You get to keep your looks though. Love the hair..."

Siren laughed softly, blowing a piece of the red hair out of her face, shaking her head. "Even when I was a little kid, I had this flaming red hair. It's what got me noticed and picked up. Not easy to hide with it, I can tell you."

He sighed as he moved closer to her, to touch it as he smiled. "I want to braid it now..." he said, his eyes shining.

She laughed at that, tilting her head before moving to sit in front of him, turning so her back was to him. "My personal stylist, hm?

He nodded, his eyes warm as he started touching her hair. "Beautiful locks," he said, reaching for a comb and a silk band.

She sighed, relaxing with the feeling as she smiled. "Feels nice," she admitted, closing her eyes.

"Meant to," he whispered, taking his time...his fingers going to rub her temples.

Siren moaned softly, tipping her head back to him with a long sigh. "I need this every night. You're hired."

He chuckled as he watched her, his eyes shining as he took his time before starting to comb her hair. "I am cheap too..."

"Hm, you said it, not me," she teased lightly, but with a warm smile.

He chuckled as he did her hair in sections before he started to braid it. "French braid, I think..."

"There's different types of braids?" she replied with surprise, arching an eyebrow. "That's how little I know."

"Yes," he said and smiled warmly, his eyes shining. "So many different types..."

"Where I'm from, there's tied up and not tied up," she smiled softly, shaking her head gently until she realised it would move her hair and not help him.

He laughed at the words, but with warmth and humour. "Well, you can do a lot of sexy things with it..." he said, careful to get a good braid.

"You seem to know a lot about this," she laughed warmly, wishing she could look at him and see his reaction.

He smiled as he finished, touching her shoulders. "I come from an affectionate people...and I used to braid the hair of the priestesses."

"You grew up with priestesses?" she asked softly with surprise, smiling warmly as she turned to him. He hadn't told her that before. She would definitely have remembered something like that.

He nodded as he watched her, taking the mirror to show her the hair. "I was taken in by them when my...abilities started showing. My father was Prefect."

"It's beautiful," Siren said with surprise, turning her head slightly as she looked at the reflection. "You're very good with your hands," she added playfully.

Victarion smiled warmly at the praise, his eyes shining as he squeezed her shoulders. "Well, have to be good at something..." he teased.
