As Justin slowly twirled his finger in the air, he let out a low whistle as he watched the scene playing in his eyepiece. The sound of a child had drawn his attention and he could resist the scene while played out infront of him. The little girl kept creeping to the edge of the lake before her guardian would grab her by the waist and drag her back.

The laughter of child and adult echoed amount the trees they'd set a blanket in as Justin continued to watch on. This wasn't film which would make it into the work being carried out between him and his colleagues but something more personal. The scene, the people, the simple joy they experienced at being in this small piece of heaven was something he couldn't resist. The heart of the ship and the future of the Federation.

Evelyn arrived at the arboretum and smirked at what she saw. "Planning out a scene?"

Smirking as he heard her voice, Justin made a flicking motion backwards with his hand before saying loud enough for her to hear. "You'd better duck." Even as he said the words, Evelyn would head a whirling sound quickly getting closer.

Evelyn ducked as something flew past over her head. "What the hell was that!?"

Laughing as the ball flew into the palm of his outstretched hand, Justin raised his hand to Evelyn's eye level as the object seemed to almost twerp. "Meet Remo." As Justin's other hand moved upwards to flip back the screen over his eye, the ball moved to hover in line with his hand. "This little guy is my best friend."

Evelyn arched her brow, "A robotic camera?" She questioned looking it over. "How distant can this device go with you being able to control it?"

As he kept the instrument hovering, Justin held out his hand in order to offer that Evelyn could take Remo and have a closer look. "It depends on the landscape ew find ourselves in. He has very limited range through bulkheads, about 7-10 meters. In wide open space such as this, he can easily treble the distance before the image being sent back to me is distorted. Even though Remo here does all of the work; because he is only a recorder, a Tri-vid remote holo-recorder at that, he still needs my signals to know what he needs to film and me to direct his angles."

Eve nodded and turned her attention back at Justin, "Very well, it's a very impressive piece of equipment."

Mentally shrugging his shoulders as the woman ignored the camera he held out, Justin tightened his fist around it before peeling the glove off of his right hand, therefore rending the equipment inactive. Catching Evelyn's eyes, his own smile broadened. "Boys and our toys eh...You can just tell me to shut up if I ramble on a little too much."

"Don't worry, and this is more than a toy. Without it you wouldn't be able to do your job." Evelyn smiled, "but I do wonder why you called me here."

Holding aloft the gloves and camera, a twinkle entered Justin's eye as he moved slightly closer towards Evelyn. "Can a guy not just want to enjoy the company of a good looking gal every once in awhile?"

Evelyn smirked and crossed her arms over her chest, "I'm old enough to know the true answer to that is no. But thank you for the compliment."

As a rich laugh left Justin's chest, he just shook his head as he started to realise what it was about this woman which seemed to make Zaren so infatuated with her. "Well sweetheart, it's partly true, you are good company. The other part of my reason for bringing you here is to see if I can talk you into some prelimary shots, give you a chance to see how you come out on camera before we let Zaren loose on you."

"Zaren loose..oh no no no." Evelyn laughed shaking her head and hands. "Zaren and I aren't together. He...he is an old acquaintance but we're not involved."

Raising an eyebrow, Justin had to hold back another laugh. "I meant let him loose with his questions...." He found himself pausing for a moment before he continued as he watched Evelyn carefully. "Zaren, he's a good and kind hearted guy. One of a handful of people who I can truly call a friend. Let him down easy will you..."

Now it was Evelyn's turn to hold back a laugh, "You're saying that as if Zaren and I were on the verge of rekindling an old flame. I assure you we are not. If I'm not mistaken Zaren's attention in that regard is currently on the Chief Science Officer." She smirked shaking her head a bit, "So, you said you wanted some shots?"

Filing away this new piece of information, Justin was starting to wonder if him and Zaren need to have another chat. As a soft laugh escaped his lips, he muttered words softly under his breath, "That man was always away with the faries..." He started to wonder if perhaps the trill had just been reliving old memories and forgetting the present. Throwing the camera up into the air, he swiftly caught it in one hand before turning a charming smile on Evelyn. "If you are still willing Mi'lady. We can have you doing something, or I can take some simple stills. Either way you're sure to shine."

"First, don't call me Mi'lady." Evelyn stated firmly and then relaxed a bit, "and second, you want me to do what? If you wanted a picture of me why don't you just look up my Starfleet file?"

"Hum..." Studying the woman carefully, Justin nodded his head towards a nearby tree before taking a step back and using a finger to flip back down his eye piece. "Cause I ain't looking for wooden sweetheart. I'm looking to see the real you...as clichd as that sounds. Give me ten minutes to prove it..."

Eve nodded, "Of course. I'm guessing it's not everyday you have a Starfleet officer willing to comply with the press."

Slipping back on the glove, Justin watched as Remo beeped and then came to live, hovering back in mid air. "So tell me something about yourself Evelyn. Something about the woman behind the officer." As he positioned focused the camera in on Evelyn, he set the recording as he waited for her to position herself near the tree he had indicated."

"I'm two hundred and thirty years old. You're going to have to be a bit more specific." Eve smiled looking at Justin, ignoring the hovering robot. "Why do you journalist always ask broad questions first?"

Laughing at the comment, Justin pinched his fingers together before pulling them back in order to widen the angel of the shot. When the woman smiled it lightened her face and showed another aspect to her, he just needed to figure how to keep it there. "I'm not a journalist remember, I'm just your average Joe so cameraman...let's see..." Meeting her eyes with his, Justin smiled broader as he watched their blue depths. "Tell me about your favourite food...the one item which when you taste it in your mouth makes your knees feel weak in ecstasy."

Eve smirked and thought about that one food item that would result in her knees buckling. "Sumarian peach. Everytime I visit their homeworld I must have a fresh ripen peach. It's so..." she licked her lips chuckling softly remembering the last time she ate one. "I can't eat them standing up. It's as if your brain sacrifices mobility to process the flavor and the taste."

As he zoomed in on the picture slightly, Justin got a still of the woman's face just as the tip of her tongue touched her lower lip. In very quick reaction time, a second image was captured as the soft chuckle seemed to lighten her eyes and face. "Hum...sounds absolutely sinful. What do you remember going through your mind as the taste explodes in your mouth, as the juice fills your mouth and escapes your lips."

"Well, the only thought that ran through my mind was how delicious it was." She smirked, ''That was it."

As the corner of Justin's lip lifted in a half smile his focus momentarily turned directly on Evelyn as he studied her smile. "You like to glance off of details, not dwell in the moment and treasure something which might be pleasurable..."

Eve looked at him, "I glance off details? I come from a race of listeners... all we do is dwell in the moment and pay close attention on details. Besides if you ever had tasted a sumarian peach, you'd understand how indescribable the sensation really is. It's practically mind numbing."
