INITIATE PRIVATE LOG:

"I have come to an extremely logical, morally correct, and un-clouded realization." Greg said, slipping on a new shirt after getting out of the shower. His work lasted a couple of hours and he was dead tired. "I've noticed that there is literally nothing work wise to do on this ship."

He dropped onto his bed, face first and stayed that way for a couple of seconds before turning over. "I mean, this is like, a modern version of Cheers.....on a starship. Everyone knows each others name. Which means little to no laws being broken." He then banged his head on the wall next to his bed to emphasize the point every time he spoke. "Which means, THERE'S! NOTHING! TO! DO!"

He sat up on his bed. "Don't get me wrong, I mean I like the idea of getting along with everyone.....but that's usually off duty. Unless someone decides to getting in a fight with another person, I'm going to be spending most of my time here on patrol. When I said I wanted quiet, I meant I wanted a normal police job, like on a Sovereign class." He sighed, "Oh well, I'm here for a few years, so I may as well get used to it. Computer, play my playlist."

Music began to play in the background.

LCARS SCAN CONFIRMED
MUSIC IDENTIFIED: "Boys of Summer" By Don Henley, Building the Perfect Beast album, 1984.

"On the flip-side, my personal baggage has been unloaded onto the counselor. I have no idea how she coerced me into spilling the beans....but she threatened to have me fired if I don't do something about it. I don't know if I want to actually legitimately work on my issues, or just tell her what she needs to hear just to avoid getting fired. At least she can't read minds."

Greg turned over to his side to rest his eyes. "On a side note, I really need to drop by my old counselor again if I'm ever in the area. To.....um....thank her for her help. Note to self though: avoid the Admin deck. They have no idea how to evaluate anyone." He began to drift off into sleep. "Ah well.....I'm gonna get some rest before I have to get to work." Yawning, he said the last command for the log: "Computer, end log."

END PRIVATE LOG
