LOG BEGINS

Well, last day of shoreleave before we have to head back to Jupiter station for this symposium Jared's presenting at, and we get our new assignment after the ship is declared space worthy.

I'm really not sure what my thoughts are on going back into space again. Being separated from Lian was probably the worst thing I've ever had to endure and I don't know if I can do it again. I don't want to pull Jared away from the ship but at the same time, his research can be done from the relative safety of a larger ship like a Nebula, or even one of the new Luna class.

And on top of that, I'm twenty weeks along with our first baby together. I haven't said anything though I know Jared told the science department, I guess because I fear the repercussion of telling them, I mean what are they going to think?

What do I do? I don't want to stay behind on earth while Jared goes off into the unknown, I want to be by his side but how am I going to handle this many children?
