"Computer begin Log."

Eva stared into the camera of the small log recorder in her quarters aboard the ISS Saalm. Her expression was one of pain and regret mixed with worry and concern.

"I don't know how secure these logs are as I suspect they are routinely snooped by security and intelligence. So Naois, if you are reading this, please listen to me."

"Since the day we met in that bar and you took me to be your consort I have never been unfaithful, I've never strayed. My body has been yours and yours alone. Men who meet me know of you and my relationship to you and steer clear of me. They fear you Naois, and with good reason. I know what you do, I have known for a long while and yet I still chose to remain at your side, not from fear of angering you, but because you are the first man I really actually care for, as strange as that sounds."

"But now, I do not know. I still love you Naois and would never cheat on you. I have only one course of action I can take Naois as you do not wish me to use the pill and I cannot become pregnant again otherwise I fear what you may do to me." Eva held up a pill in her hand. "My doctor gave me this Naois. It is a pill that will render me infertile for the rest of my life. If in time you do come to realize that your doctor is a liar and want offspring by me, you will have to be content in the knowledge I gave them to you and you rejected them, killing them while they were still inside me."

Eva looked into the camera again as she swallowed the pill and took a sip from a glass. "It is done. I will forever be your princess Naois, your consort. You will never have to worry that I carry the spawn of some other man inside me."

"Computer. End Recording."
