"So far I have been unimpressed with the IKS. They seem as dysfunctional and poorly organized as the Terran Empire. It is a wonder that either have gotten this far. In fact it is of my personal opinion that if one did not exist then the other would fall apart as well.

Of course it is not like we do not have our own faults along that line as well. Each House still warily watches another and the world ever seems on the brink of falling into an all consuming war.....again.

We almost have destroyed ourselves a few times just pulling back from the brink but then another generation or two comes along and the A'ksu of each House thinks that perhaps they can do more.

In a way it is only the threat of either the Alliance or the Terran Empire that manages to keep us from our own final destruction and without them what would happen to us? It is like watching some macabre dance as all of us eye the other waiting for the knife stroke and yet knowing one cannot exist without the other.

While many do not love us, they still fear us and what the A'ksu have accomplished. I watched an interesting demonstration of psionics but we have bred other races ourselves to the point that some of the A'ksu have made beings that can on the local level perform Loli'a'ailoia.

Hmmm......not sure exactly how to translate that but something on the order of denying reality or rather being able to in the local area change reality. I remember being on a ship and watching as a Terran ship attempted to fire a torpedo at us. We just watched and as the thing got close the pet Loli'a'alloia just changed reality in such a way that the torpedo just disappeared from the reality.

Well neither knows of those things as of yet. One cannot help but wonder after a point if what they knew we had beyound what we have shown and told them if the Terrans and the Alliance would not band together and consider us the bigger threat.

AFter all what we have is even more dangerous than what the Icconians had and look at what eventually happened to them.

Well let's see what happens in the next days and weeks but I think we should remain apart from both and just be vigilant.
