"Computer..."

*chirp*

Rheneas plunked himself down on his now fixed bed and stared at the PADD in his hands. "I'm not used to keeping logs, so I'll give this a try since it seems to be expected to keep them."

The Human engineer sighed. "I'm an engineer for crying out loud, not a public speaker, what do I want with logs. What's wrong with a good old fashioned diary and writing things down? Can't be wiped, can't be corrupted..."

He sighed. "Anyway...I've transferred from the Aventia to the Galileo and after bunking here and there for a night or two, I finally seem to be assigned somewhere. Unofficially still but my roomie from last night seems to have no issue with me sticking around. The problem is...the higher ups might because of who he is. You see, my roomie is Deltan... and he's all bubbly with emotion and just all over the place."

A goofy grin crossed the engineer's face upon the memory. "We got really wasted last night and we fell asleep right on the floor, together! Of all things, we fall asleep together...oh my what are people gonna think? Presuming one of us breathes a word of course, or they hack into this log."

Another sigh. "Anyway, I think it's good to have a roommate who has such high and positive spirits! Makes coming home after a busy shift fun business. And with all that's going on around the ship right now...we all could use a positive thought or two. So here's to my new roommate, and let's hope we'll have an arrangement for life here. Computer end log."
