''Computer, start personal log,''

''Another month has gone by, well not really, just a few days but again its time for the oh so lovely and absolutely not awful personal logs. I really don't see the use for them, if you want us to make our problems public then just send us to a counsellor.'' Jaana started fuming her hatred for personnel logs.

''Obviously not much is going on at the moment. We're about to start the exercise with the Klingons. The entire science team has worked hard to get our plan ready for operation and I think we are. It would be a lot of fun to see the surprise on the faces of the people on the other ships when they see our little experiment active.''

''My training with Commander Kohl is actually giving me some joy. Mostly due to the promotion of Lieutenant Idris to Chief Research Officer. I never understood why Kohl assigned me as acting CRO. I'm not ready to lead the whole research department. I'm glad someone at command had the same opinion.''

''Knowing this new responsibility will be over when this mission is over makes the job more fun. I don't have to worry any more what other will think of my performance and if it's high enough. In a few days I can simply go back to my research and tasks I have as the ship's Stellar Cartography officer.''

''All this new stress hasn't been very good for me physical. I have more trouble keeping my meal in. It's getting harder though to hide it. I never seem to have any time alone lately. I finally loose some pounds though, so all the feeling tired and weak is actually bringing forward something good.''
