Personal Log: Lt Commander Dea Mialin

USS Aventia has arrived at our destination for the exercise. So far things have been going well. The crew seems to be adjusting to our temporary home. Yet I didn't expect things to be this quiet to start. For one reason or another we don't have any Klingon guests touring the ship. At this point I can't really say whether thats good or bad.

For now it gives a chance to relax a bit and prepare for the upcoming exercise. Markos is a good leader. I can learn a lot in many areas from her. Yet I also know my own perspective on things has changed since our last mission. There's no way to avoid that.

In the long term that is a good thing. However there is a bit of adjustment involved. I've always believed the best way to get through stuff like this is to be thrown into having to adapt on the fly. This training exercise is going to be an ideal place for that.

At this point I'm looking forward to seeing the crew in action. All of them are good officers. Together I'm seeing great potential in them to do well during the upcoming war games.
