Troubles

230 words; about a 1 minute read

Jonah walked into his room, fortunately, his roommate was not there, so he had a little time to himself.

I have decided to put the incident with the Xo behind me. Not much more that I can do to fight city hall, or the establishment or whatever you want to call it.

Reflecting back on it, I could understand her reaction-though I still think its a bit of an over reaction.

But the punishment is over and done and I am just going to forget it. Far more troubling though was the Commodore, someone who is supposed to be setting a right example pulling a weapon on another officer.

And the fact that it was all kind of swept under the rug with no real consequences. She must have friend in high places or something. I just know that in any civilian organization there would have been hell to pay.

I am just going to try to avoid her whenever possible. I just know if the woman ever pulls a weapon on me, she better damn well use it or she will regret it. My parents may have raised me to be a doctor like my daddy, but I got half my mother's genes too, and she's still a damn fine Intel officer.

Well enough negative stuff for now, I hear there are some new cute crewmen coming on board.
