Hello Computer!

"Hello? Computer, is this on?" Delon tapped his computer screen, watching as his words suddenly appeared. "Ah, good. This is my first log, I've never dictated one before but..."

There was a brief but audible hesitation. "I think my dad is in trouble. I heard about altercations. People think we don't here, but people don't realise that children do hear about their parents. I don't want to lose my dad, he's all we have left after mom died."

Another pause, longer this time.

"My second mother, I don't remember my birth mother nor my birth father. Dad is in big trouble I think. He gets grumpier by the day and he's already lost his temper a few times. I can see he's trying but it gets harder every day. I'm afraid security will come to arrest him any day now, I've never seen him like this, and I'm scared."

The boy stared at the computer screen, wiping at his eyes. "I don't know if I should talk to him, or maybe Revan should. I don't know where to go with this either, who to talk to... I'm so scared..."

A sigh followed as he shoved his chair back. "End log."
