Personal Log: Dea Mialin

Galileo has arrived at the starbase. After three days in quarantine we can finally move about the station. However the ship is still off limits at this time. So I'm preparing for the first of my scheduled checkrides with the flight control personnel.
There are two scheduled for today and two for tomorrow.

I know my people are just as anxious for shore leave as I am. They have certainly earned the time off. Even though most of our shuttles were grounded a majority of the last mission it didn't mean we weren't busy. In fact trying to keep the systems free of Tribbles became a pretty thankless task.

It was a tough mission for all of us. A break from duty is something we all need. Meanwhile I'll be spending my leave on the starbase. Its too far to travel back to Earth and I'd much rather just enjoy the time we have relaxing.

Then there is my own experience on the away team. I'm not sure I'll ever truly comprehend all that happened. For now I just intend to follow the orders I was given from medical to actually relax. Well its time to go since duty calls.

"End log."
