So...my program has been upgradedas Starfleet likes to term it - in short...I'm now short. My physical parameters have been upgraded to that of a human female, and one with red follicular growth at that! Supposedly my new subroutines will give me a better bedside manner than perhaps I had before - although quite why a doctor needs a good bedside manner is beyond me - simply heal the organics and get them out the...

*clears throat*

Apologies...my new personality subroutines haven't entirely bedded in yet, there are some internal conflicts that my on board diagnostic programs are in the process of resolving.

I am unsure as to how the crew will treat this new avatar - I have been told from several of the Starbase engineers installing new systems in Sickbay that I look "hot" to which I of course replied that they may require an optical examination as my photonic body does not produce a heat signature. There may be an outbreak of Denebian flu amongst the engineers which is known to produce mild hallucinations.

Once my algorithms have fully amalgamated themselves I imagine it will be only a matter of time before I become familiar with this form - the Bolian doctor seemed even more alarmed at my existence now as he was previously. This was...enjoyable, if not a little disturbing.
