"Chief Science Officer's log...

"Today is the day I get to meet the brains behind the Sienna Project. While to most people this would be an exciting prospect but after the mind numbing amount of research that preceded it I am just tired. I am not talking about the interesting stuff, like how the system worked or ever the mathematics behind the drive. I am talking about the overwhelming amount of information that my team and I have had to pilfer through in order to prepare for the download of the information as well as set up lab space for the pair. (Audible yawn recorded)

"Markum has already retired for the night and soon I will join him but first wanted to get this out in the open. The Sienna project is a magnificent piece of theoretical machinery. It would decrease Starfleet's dependence on certain elements as well as increase the distance of which we could travel. Think of all the places we could see if we could traverse the entire galaxy in a matter of moments. (Audible sigh)

"While I well aware of the places we have never been or even truly hoped of going. I can easily imagine a time when other galaxies will be at our fingertips. (Audible yawn recorded) I just hope that some part of the technology that will someday get us there will be discovered in my lifetime.(Audible yawn recorded)

"Yep, three yawns per recording is my limit....Computer end recording."
