Min activated the recorder before leaning back into the couch in her quarters.

"Computer begin recording."

Min smiled at the camera. "I had my latest prenatal visit to the doctor's today. She had good news and possibly better news for me today. Good news is the baby is doing well, developing as expected. The possibly better news, she thinks that Starfleet medical had my due date wrong which means I'm most likely due in a few weeks, not a few months."

"For me at least, that's better news. Don't get me wrong I've been enjoying pregnancy, aches, pains and the occasional release of gas aside, but it's time for my daughter to vacate and join us in the world."

"Jared is looking forward to the idea of being a stepfather as well. I also think that Jared is looking forward to the idea of having my body to himself again, any baby's going forward being his. He'd never admit it and I don't know for sure, but it's what I'd be feeling if I was in his shoes. It's great to be a step-dad but I think he want's one to call his own."

Min gave the camera a cheeky smile. "Who knows, maybe I'll stop taking the shot in six months and not tell him. Not sure I want two less then two years apart, but a sibling for my daughter would be nice and I'm sure any initial shock on Jared's part would give way to excitement."

"Which reminds me, not sure why I didn't mention this earlier, Jared proposed to me. Bit unusual circumstances as I'm not sure how many people have been proposed to while cuddling in bed after a good round of nookie."

"As a random aside, for those that have, how many have gone onto long term relationships that lasted? I know Jared's been looking for a way to pop the question for a while now so it's not like he's proposing after a good fling, tho literally speaking he did, so that's just a random question."

"Of course, now that we're getting married, I have a bunch of planning to do and figure out. Jared wanted the ceremony to be before the baby was born as he figured I'd look kinda cute. That's not going to happen from the looks of it."

"Which also reminds me, I'll need to figure out how to juggle looking after the baby and my duty shifts after she's born. Not sure who'd be a good sitter but I'll figure something out. Gotta be someone on a different shift who's good with newborns who can be a nanny of sorts."
