Well I said from the start this mission has been interesting, to say the least. Our meeting with the miners was....honestly I'm not sure there is a way to put it into words. Skeptical at best and well terrified at worst.

They complained about strange things happening but weren't very open to talking. Even though we explained our job is to help they refused to let us go into the mines.
So here we are.

Aside from that trying stay diplomatic with Cardassians involved is next to impossible. For that reason alone I'll be glad when Galileo is finished with this one. Yeah I'll follow orders and be an example for the Junior Officers and NCO's but I also know this mission is uncomfortable for others as well due to our past relations with this particular species.

Really there's not much more to say on the subject. For now we just take things as they come. I'm certainly not about to let my guard down either. Other than that its duty as usual.
