Personal Log: Lt Dea Mialin

Words cannot accurately describe what we've been through. I made it back from the Borg ship alive but i'm not in a mood to celebrate. We've lost a lot of good people on this mission.

Even though we managed to rescue some from the Borg not all could be. That along with those we lost in the battle will always be with me. Currently we're still too busy trying to get the ship repaired so that we can get out of here and return home.

On top of everything we're allowing an race we don't fully trust to help us with repairs. I was the first to talk to them yet I did not go to the surface with that away team because I was ordered to stay here. Yes its safe to say part of me feels guilty for not protesting the fact Blake choose to go down herself. However orders are orders and it was her call as acting CO.

No matter what I still have my reservations about this race. I could see how they reacted during our first call and then what they did to people I trust with my very life. That and the fact they can control the Borg in some way but we don't know how.

That's it for now. Time to get back to work.
