"First Officers Log via Tricorder. We have finally managed to make contact by beaming into the underwater facility and finding it on emergency power. The personnel here have not provided much information other than they are under some sort of attack by some sort of sea creature.

I am going to see if by any means we can make contact with the Galileo and order an evacuation and then figure out what the heck is going on. Even if it is putting a message in a bottle.
