I'm Caught Up

After a long and exhausting day of introductions and beginning his work schedule a tired Topher flopped down on his bed and started to undo his uniform.

"Computer, begin personal log.

Well, I'm well and truly caught up. I have made my introductions, gave myself a little personal guided tour of the ship. By that, I mean the bar.

The people here seem friendly enough, for the most part. Some eye candy, as well, as I pass through the halls. There is a cute officer in either Sciences or Medical. Superior Officer, though, although not in command of my department. Flirting investigations must be made shortly.

The Nova Class is a quaint ship, to say the least. Close quarters will be the theme for this posting. So far I have yet to meet my roommate, but I guess that could happen at any moment. Thus far I am enjoying my alone time. Something I hope is not in short supply. As social butterfly as I can be and how much I can enjoy other's company, there are times I like to escape myself and into my world.

...I do wonder what the Holodeck schedule is like for a ship like this. I should think about signing my name up if there is an unusually long queue.

I shall wrap this log up for now. Computer set it for access to my public database. Inform my usual listeners, aka, my family; there is a new log for their listening pleasure."
