They are often the person who goes unrewarded in order to be able to reward those under them. In the case of the USS Galileo, the CO deserves full recognition for the work and effort but into this ship. This is not just for the character he plays(Lirha) but also because of the work he puts into making this simm as fantastic as possible, both OOC and IC. The plots he comes up with, the stories he writes, all capture the imagination of every crew member, resulting in us wanted to be the best crew we can, to honour our CO. He is always there for each and everyone of us if we just need someone to bounce ideas off of or even if things are being too difficult, he's always there to do what he can to help. Our CO encompasses what a true CO should be, someone you can both look up to and know they have your back when you need it.

She has the sensuality and appeal of an Orion, but she also has the emotions and feelings of a real, deep person, and is also strong and steely when needed. It's also great to see an Orion in a command position, showing that an Orion female can still be sensual, but also intelligent and driven and strong. I think it's not only the best, but also the most positive depiction of an Orion I have read.

	Community Builder Citation Awarded 08 Nov 2013 @ 11:21am Nominated by Lieutenant Asahi Kita	It may be 'part of the job' so to speak, but Jay has been more than helpful in aiding the newbies with settling in, organizing the plots, and keeping the Galileo as well-oiled a ship as he possibly can. He's had a lot of suggestions to create a more lively environment within the simm, and strives to involve as many people as he can with all of the simm's activities. CO or not, he does his job extremely well and it makes the Galileo actually feel like a community as opposed to 'just another simm.'
	Outstanding Volunteer Award Awarded 13 Dec 2013 @ 11:50am Nominated by Commander Scarlet Blake	Although it might seem unusual to give this to the CO, I wanted to give an award that recognised the sheer amount of work, time and effort put in by the CO on OOC time to give all the little extras to the site that make the Galileo unique. From working out rosters to writing up promotion guides, a lot of work comes from the CO to make sure we have a detailed and unique gaming experience.

	Rose Award Awarded 05 Sep 2015 @ 4:55pm Nominated by Lieutenant Benice Gyce Ph.D.	Though the relationship is just starting IC, I as the other party in this Lirha/Gyce experiment, have to say that their first gathering was very natural. It was also not forced and still on a great, believable pace. Not to mention a lot of fun to play with the player. For something that was totally unplanned, I feel Jay has to be at least recognized for helping open this new can or worms, and the IC repercussions it brings for this somewhat tabooed semi-couple.

There is something about the way that Jay wriites Lirha that almost makes me envious. There are times that I wish I could connect with my character as well as Jay does with Lirha.
