ON:

Amber was going over the reports from her previous assignment. Debriefing the crew of the USS Belfast after a rather traumatic experience with a warp core breach. Her medical background had uniquely qualified her for service with the Starfleet Personnel Operations Department. She pulled the antique glasses from her nose and rubbed at the bridge of her nose.

It had been a hard case ultimately there was no one at fault other than the manufacturer of the containment grid that the Belfast had used. Before Starfleet went after the manufacturer they wanted to go thru everyone who had ever touched the containment grid to see if there was any possibility of poor upkeep.

They had interviewed everyone on the engineering team, the Chief engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, Chief of Operations, everyone assigned to maintenance and eventually everyone in engineering and operations that would have the knowledge to be able to service the system.

She, as a certified doctor, got to talk to and review all of the medical data that pertained to the crew who serviced the system or was injured during the loss of the warp core. It was all covered under doctor patient confidentiality which was important to the Fleet. She put her glasses back on and looked down at the PADD in front of her as the soft chiming of her computer went off. She placed the PADD down and turned in her seat to look at the screen. It was a communique from her boss, she waved her hand over the screen and activated it. The seal of Star Fleet appeared and then was replaced with text.

She skimmed over it quickly looking over the pertinent information and then sighed. "I hate working on lost ships." she said to herself as she continued to read.

"The USS Galileo, commanded by Rear Admiral Lirha Saalm." she said again as she read the screen then spoke up.

"Computer, download all crew data to my terminal for the USS Galileo. Command staff dossiers and medical files only please." she knew that she would be assigned the task of going thru the medical and psychological files and decided to get a head start on them. She'd have several days of digging before the Chaka reached SB-234 and several more before the Atlirith would get them to Earth. The soft beep from the computer was the sign that the personnel, medical and psyc data had been downloaded.

She pulled up the information starting with the Admiral who was the CO of the Galileo and began a deep dive into the dossier. She would be at it for some time she knew.
