INITIATE PRIVATE LOG

"Well, that was fast." Greg said, while also reading through a daily report. "I've only been on the ship for a while, yet I've got my first promotion. Chief Warrant Officer Third Class. Never thought I'd see the day for that to happen."

Greg swiped the screen of the PADD. "Nothing much else out of the ordinary has happened to me personally recently. We wrapped up the colony mission pretty quickly after a few minor bumps, and an argument between me and one of the head doctors there."

He looked up from the PADD. "Note to future self: scientists don't like firearms. Go-friggen-figure."

Putting the report down, he got up and rolled onto his bed. "Let's see, what else? Oh, I got a new roomate. Also a CWO3. Name's Lamar Darius, and he's a pretty decent guy, at least as little as I have talked to him. I swear though, he looks like a guy I've seen on some old military movie, but I can't place him........ah well. Computer, play music."

"Anyway, before my shift, I think I may watch a movie later. I don't know, maybe Broken Arrow. I love that film, it's soundtrack, and people tell me I look a lot like Christian Slater.....must be the hair."

Greg laid his head back on his pillow. "Well, that's all I can think of for now. If I remember anything else, I'll amend this. See ya in about a month or so. Chief Warrant Officer Sec....I mean Third class Greg Mitchell, logging off."
